About sonja hunter
We came to Savusavu from New Zealand searching for a tropical lifestyle and a safe environment to raise our small daughter. We found Fiji to be the perfect mixture of cultures with the Indian and the Fijian way of life We love the friendly people and the beautiful nature. We have designed and built this beautiful waterfront accommodation with an Eco-conscious blend of modern living and rustic chic.We hope to share this special slice of paradise with you soon. .
sonja hunter purchased this villa in 1999
Why sonja hunter chose Savusavu
We loved the nature and the friendliness oft the people especially in this area. This stunningly beautiful valley sweeps down to the waterway which feeds Fiji's Salt Lake from the Koro Sea. We enjoy all tide access to the Lake and the Koro Sea from our own waterfront. The land is very fertile and grows a huge array of tropical plants, palms, coconuts flowers and fruits. Andrew is an avid fisherman and he can fish when ever the mood takes him.We wanted to escape cold winters and enjoy tropical living in a safe and healthy environment.
What makes this villa unique
Beautifully remote yet only 20 minutes from Town we are perched on the edge of the waterway leading from the Koro Sea to Salt Lake surrounded by coconut plantations, reef, lake, river and rainforest.
This is the real Fiji.
