Located on the northern tip of the Gargano, Peschici offers tourists a breathtaking view overlooking the coast from Vieste and Rodi Garganico towards the horizon you can see the natural paradise of the Tremiti Islands
The origin of the town's name derives from the Croatian 'pijesak' (= sand), not surprisingly expresses precisely this image of the town overlooking the sea, and surrounded by a beautiful bay with a pure, white sand.
