This unique neighborhood is close to all restaurants, stores and famous Paris monuments: 5 minute walk uphill to the Sacre-Coeur Basilica and the Place du Tertre and 5 minute walk downhill to the world famous Moulin Rouge. With the Abbesses open market next door, you'll be able to buy the best produce 7 days a week and cook at home!

My husband and I along with our teenage daughter stayed for 11 days over Christmas and New Year and had a wonderful time. Isabelle was great, replying very quickly to all our enquiries and ever willing to give assistance and share her valuable local knowledge. Montmartre was charming and we spent days exploring the fascinating streets, the cafes, shops, patisseries, churches, museums etc which are within minutes of the apartment. We felt quite safe and were comfortable in allowing our daughter to do some solo exploring, taking the usual tourist precautions. Access to all the Paris attractions is simple with the Metro station so very close by. It was our first experience of the Metro but we quickly became familiar with it and found it incredibly convenient. There are a number of small grocery shops and a couple of local supermarkets within a short walk of the apartment, making self catering easy – but it’s so hard to resist the local coffee and pastries! The WiFi in the apartment was a great bonus. The apartment was as described and was a warm and cosy place to return to each evening.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

We stayed here for a week in April 2013. It was a nice apartment, well finished and comfortable for two. The apartment was clean and neat, and has all of the amenities listed in the description. This area of Paris is simply amazing. It has a small town feel, while being in the most famous city on earth. I cant praise it enough.

The owner, Isabelle, was very freindly and professional. All the transactions were handled perfectly.

I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed for 6 days in February (returned today). We really loved it. The apartment is very comfortable. Heating (essential for those who go on winter), wi fi, TV ... As I had the opportunity to say to Isabelle, we felt really at home and, at the same time, we were meeting one fabulous and grandiose city (Monmartre is beautiful). Real luxury comes with comfort. Imagine to go to Eiffel tower in the morning, come home to grab a bite, relax a little, have a cafe in Monmartre and going to the Louvre in the afternoon! Learn to use the subway (abbesses's station is right there) and this is what you can do. The neighborhood is very safe. Isabelle responds very promptly and will provide excellent tips about the patisseries, butchers and groceries.
We will return (and we think this is the best compliment we can write)!

I waited an entire year to write this, but it was worth the wait because I still remember how nice my stay was. The location is grand and has a lot of unique historical landmarks. I walked the area everyday. The 1 bedroom apartment is very comfortable and homey. It was like being home. There are many shops and grocery stores in the area. It was nice to kick back and cook and enjoy a glass of wine. I felt comfortable hosting new friends I've met during my stay. The check-in/out instructions were clear and easy to follow. It was a little noisy in the mornings, but it is Paris! You are very close to the Pigalle and Abbesses metro stations; be prepare to climb hills and stairs, but it's worth it! I will be staying in Montmarte again this month, but unfortunately Isabelle's place is booked up! It's a cute place to stay, and if you really want to see the real Paris and breathe in the history of this fabulous city, I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful Montmartre location

This is the perfect location for walking, shopping and eating in Montmartre, and is very near the Metro. The apartment is clean, and cute and had everything we needed. The owner was super helpful and gave us many good recommendations for stores and restaurants. Wish we didn't have to leave!
