City Centre living just doesn't get any better. This well equipped and beautifully renovated 18th Century 4 storey Town house comes complete with 5 bedrooms, 3 exquisite bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen/ dining room, Living room, family room and patio garden.

Sitting within the ancient city walls, this home is ideal for family get together, groups of friends or a group of corporate visitors who wish to be in the centre of it all.

There are two reception rooms. The living room with flat screen TV, gas fire and Duresta sofas which can sit 12 and the Family room/Library, with a Chesterfield sofa, tub chairs, desk and wood burning stove which sits 7 comfortably.

The kitchen has been expertly designed to make cooking and entertaining easy, however with the many restaurants available in York within a 10 minute walk you may never need it.

The furniture and beds are all 5* hotel quality with an American King in 1 room and 3ft singles in the twin rooms. Linen and towels are provided as is soap, shower gel and the basic cleaning materials

There is parking at the rear of the property with a secure garage for a small car and another space in front. Additionally there is on street parking in front of the property available with parking permits (which can be purchased through the owner at a cost).

We live between York and Bridlington, We bought St Saviourgate to be able to restore it back to its original glory for the future generations in York. It is a wonderful home and holds a special place in our hearts having put lots of love and hard graft into making it what it is. We know you will love it.

Big, beatuiful and everything that we needed!

Property was even nicer than expected, very modern, clean, well finished and plenty of space

The owners could not have been more helpful: we had a slight blip with heating and they were straight round to help and did not rest until problem solved

Beautiful house, very central for shops,etc

Looks exactly like the pictures, beautifully decorated, spacious, good facilities. kitchen was well equipped and lots of little extras like a welcome back, hand soap, washing up liquid etc.

Serena was very helpful throughout the booking and arriving process which made the weekend run smoothly. I will defiantly come back, and would highly recommend it is a good place for a winter break.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is immaculate and perfect for large groups. It has everything you may need and more besides. The owner so friendly and helpful. Parking on site was great and views of Minster stunning. Location perfect for popping into York at any time. Would highly recommend this property.

A beautifully appointed house in a superb location

The location of this house is perfect for a city stay in one of the UK's most charming historic City's with the added attraction of stunning York Minster views from many of its windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The house was very comfortable with spacious light rooms and extremely well furnished and decorated. The attention to detail throughout, including fixtures and fittings, furniture and household equipment has clearly been well thought out and considered. As York is our home town, I should think it is very likely we will return to this property. It is, without doubt, the nicest rental property we have stayed in, in the 16 years we have been returning to and renting holiday property in York. Many many thanks for having us to stay.

Great location and finished to a high standard.T

We stayed in this house for a weekend in November - a group of nine ladies having our annual get together. The house was perfect for our needs: plenty of room and beautifully finished and in an excellent location, a very short walk to the shops, restaurants and the Minster.

While there we walked some of the wall, visited the Minster and the quilting museum and had a good wander around the shops - all within an easy stroll from the house. A nice lunch in Oscars and a good dinner in the Lime House.

The owner was very helpful and communicative and the house was perfectly clean with good quality towels and linens.

Perfect house for a group of friends or a family gathering. We usually pick a different location each year but we may well be back here!
