This city center modern apartment is set in a recently rebuilt building in old historic Lisbon.

4th floor apartment with balcony all around, is located on Rua Garrett, one of the most important streets of historic Lisbon, has a privilege situation in the heart of the cultural and historical part of the city (Chiado).

Very close to several museums, operas, theaters and churches. A few minutes walk takes you to the Rossio, in the Baixa, and to the Elevador da Lavra. The other direction, you will reach the Praça do Comércio, which is located in the center of the Portuguese old empire near the river Tejo (Tagus).

To go to Sintra you must take the train at Rossio. To go to Óbidos you have Entre-Campos train station or Campo-Grande bus station, which is just a short subway trip from Chiado.

comfortable and central

This apartment was spacious, comfortable and central. It is on the 4th floor but there are two lifts which makes it easy. The bedroom is large and separate from the living/dining area. The kitchen has the essentials and the washing machine worked well. We were able to get everywhere we needed to easily. It was fun leaving our quiet respite area and being immediately in the busy part of town. Excellent bars and restaurants are just up the hill in Largo Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro. It is less touristy there and good selections of cuisine.

Great locations

Apartment was a little dated but great location with balcony. Everything was as advertised in the apartment. Would recommend for 2-3 people looking for vibrant location in Chiado

Lovely place, in the heart of Baixa-Chiado. Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay here - and it was the first place we stayed in Lisboa. I was worried it would be complicated but it was very easy. A code to get in the main door and a room card key waiting for us up the elevator. The location was smashing - we were able to explore the main neighborhoods by foot and were even treated to an outdoor concert by Carminho just a few steps out the front door! The washer/dryer came in handy too.

Great Location for a short stay in Lisbon

The apartment is in a great location for a short stay in Lisbon. It had most of the things we needed. After travelling Europe for 6 week, we especially liked the clothes washer/dryer and the space in the apartment. We didn’t use the cooking facilities as the apartment is close to many good restaurants and cafes. An espresso coffee machine would have made the apartment even better, although you can get great coffees and pastries across the road and at other nearby cafes. We loved opening up the balcony doors and listening to busters singing opera and playing local music in the streets below the apartment during the evenings. The apartment could do with some improvements, the timber floor in the kitchen had lifted and caused a trip hazard, and the bathtub seemed to leak onto the bathroom floor.

Juste parfait pour visiter Lisbonne

L'immeuble est propre et sécurisé, et très bien situé dans le Chiado. L'appartement au dernier étage avec ascenseur était parfait pour quatre (nos deux ados dormaient sur le canapé convertible), bien équipé et préparé (linge, savons, sachets de thé et de café pour le premier petit déjeuner...). Le système d'accueil par le biais d'un email très détaillé nous indiquant comment accéder à l'appartement au moyen d'un code nous a parfaitement convenu car cela donne une souplesse au niveau de l'heure d'arrivée. Tout s'est parfaitement bien passé, je recommande cet appartement sans hésitation.
