This Loft is the ideal location for getting acquainted with the city. The outdoor courtyard with fountain is the perfect place for afternoon drinks, or morning coffee. The famous High Cotton Restaurant is also located within the building. There also free private wifi access. We also have two flat screen tv's 40' with wifi blue ray player, that can access the internet, and netflix. You can watch your own Netflix account from the loft.

Being in the heart of downtown Charleston the loft is the perfect location to start your Historic Charleston Vacation. Having an interior courtyard location, it is amazingly quiet, while still in the heart of it all. Exterior shared courtyard space is a major bonus. We also provide a free garage parking space, one block over, saving you money on daily parking fees.

Hello fellow Charleston Lovers!!! Well 2015 looks to be off to a running start. We have made some improvements to the loft, New pillow top bedding, new flat screen TV's. New sleeper sofa, with foam topper, Personal private access wifi, via Comcast internet. new linens and towels. We love upgrading the loft between all the rentals year round. Please enjoy Charleston from the most central located spot available. Why pay more for a 12'x12' hotel box, when you can have a 950 sq ft loft, with full kitchen, and free garage parking???
After choosing Charleston for vacation,doing some research plus talking to Ashton, we decided not to rent a car. Shuttle from the airport no problem, plus the loft was a perfect fit!, very comfortable, great location and a beautiful courtyard too! We were able to get around the city easily on foot and when tired, hop on the FREE trolly :) In 4 days we put many miles on our shoes. Walking the streets early in the morning (my personal favorite) love all the architecture & gardens. We were even able to take a plantation tour and the tour company picked us up at our door. We had no trouble filling the days and nights with lots of exploring, good food and fun. No need for a car :) Ashton's recommendations were all spot on. Oh,and you must try the fried green tomatoes at Blossoms yummm! Thanks Ashton
For tourists in Charleston, this loft definitely is the ideal location. It really is just steps away from some great restaurants, a block from the Market St. area and a short walk from the battery and the rainbow row of houses. It is more spacious than it appears from the photos that advertise it and totally equipped with everything you need for a short stay. A real bonus is the accompanying parking pass for the Cumberland Street garage because Charleston is a booming place which means that parking would have otherwise been difficult and expensive. The only problem we encountered was that the inn had stopped supporting WIFI in the private apartments but the owner has now fixed that problem. We certainly hope to stay there again on our next visit to Charleston.
My wife and I love Charleston and have visited Charleston eight times. This is the second time we have stayed in the loft. We will continue to stay here in the future, because the location is fabulous. It is located on E. Bay Street and about a block away from the Market, a couple of blocks from the pier, and within easy walking distance of all our favorite restaurants and shopping.
The loft is spacious, clean, nicely decorated, well appointed and includes a full kitchen. Parking is free and the parking garage is conveniently locate only a block away.
We always travel with our two Chihuahuas and the loft is perfect for them as well with plenty of space to set-up their portable crate. The loft is located in the Blue Green Alley Lodge, but is privately owned. There is a courtyard outside where we love to have an afternoon or evening drink, sit with the dogs and mingle with other people.
Ashton, the owner is great to work with and has always been responsive to inquiries pertaining to the rental.
We stayed here while visiting our daughter at college. We loved the loft bedroom (comfy bed and linens!), and the topper for the sleeper, as our daughter joined us for one evening. The only bath is upstairs via spiral staircase - not a problem for us at all, but the infirm/elderly may have issue with that. Plenty of space and amenities. Great access to shopping/restaurants. Loved the free parking! Bath/kitchen a bit dated, but clean and well-appointed. We hope to come again for future visits! Owner was great to work with and very responsive!
I have stayed here 2 times now, and would certainly use the loft again. It is a very clean unit in a nice building and complex. Great Location to downtown, restaurants ans site seeing. The added parking that comes with the loft is also a huge bonus. I certainly recommend.
The unit was lovely and is in the best location....hands down....in historic downtown Charleston! The condo was clean and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable!
