Serenity is nestled comfortably behind the iconic Negresco Hotel in a Classic French Belle Époque building in the fabulous Carre D'Or area and will be enjoyed by groups of friends and families alike who want to relax in style. With high ceilings and a generous living area, choose between sipping rose on the sunny south facing balcony listening to the birds in the palm trees, or watch one of the blu-ray films provided on the HD TV from the deep sofas.

Gourmets will appreciate the delicious lineup of traditional French shops; butchers, bakeries, fishmongers, cheese shops, supermarkets and a daily fresh market - all within a 2 minute walk. Entertainment choices are endless, from relaxing beach clubs, bars and restaurants, to people watching on the Promenade des Anglais or browsing the Pedestrian Zone boutiques. If you have any time left then Serenity is very well served by local buses and the Main train station is within walking distance to allow you to explore the rest of the Riviera.

NEIGHBOURHOOD

This rental apartment in Nice is located in the heart of the centre in the very desirable area known as the Carré d'Or. It is very close to the beach - a two minute walk (just two blocks or streets) will bring you onto the Promenade des Anglais.

One road down from the apartment, on rue de France, there is a great selection of local shops including a bakery, butcher's, deli, brasserie and florist. Just around the corner, is the small but perfectly formed Cite de la Buffa market, open seven days a week. There is also a good choice of supermarkets on Boulevard Gambetta, so guests will never have far to go to stock up.

Nice's Old Town and Cours Saleya daily market is a fifteen minute stroll away. The local bus route is close by and the airport express bus is located on the Promenade. The main bus stops and train station are about a 15 minute walk away and the Port and Castle Hill will take about 20 minutes by foot.

LIVING AREA

The open plan living room is south facing and makes the most of all the sunny days that Nice enjoys. Guest will love opening the French doors and stepping out onto the balcony which overlooks an inner courtyard complete with palm trees. The balcony comes with a table and two chairs and, while you sip your morning coffee or a glass of chilled rosé, you can admire the view of the iconic Negresco dome.

Back inside, there is a comfortable sitting area with two sofas and a cosy armchair. Here guests can enjoy watching a bit of TV or one of the many DVDs provided in the apartment. There is also a good selection of books for old and young alike as well as WiFi and an iPod dock.

The dining area is located just next to the kitchen. The large glass table and six chairs provide plenty of space for guests to sit down to croissants for breakfast or a tasty lunch or dinner.

KITCHEN

Sleek and well-designed, the kitchen comes with plenty of worktop space for preparing meals with all the tempting local ingredients. The white kitchen units house a large fridge with separate freezer, dishwasher, microwave and oven, and built into the worktop is a four-ring induction hob with an extractor fan.

There is a small utility room off the kitchen with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

BEDROOMS

All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated and come with fitted wardrobes, bedside tables with reading lamps and blackout curtains. All three bedrooms also have dressing tables and double glazing.

The sumptuous coral themed master bedroom comes with a super king size bed complete with a top of the range Tempur mattress. Spacious and inviting, this room also has the advantage of having its own ensuite bathroom and a sitting area with French windows and lovely views on to beautiful Belle Epoque architecture and the Nice hills in the distance.

The second bedroom overlooks the inner courtyard and tall French windows let the light flood in. It comes with two singles which can be joined together to make a luxury super king size bed. Please note that the beds will automatically be made up as two singles unless you request for them to be made up as a super king when you book the apartment.

The cheerful third bedroom is decorated in spring colours and comes with a double bed.

BATHROOM

The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet, washbasin, vanity unit with mirror and a heated towel rail.

Similar in style, the second bathroom is fully-tiled and comes with a walk-in shower, washbasin with vanity unit and heated towel rail.

There is a separate WC opposite the second bathroom.

Ideally situated in central Nice, minutes from promenade & beach. Shops around the corner; good selection of eateries; great location to start from for all sightseeing.

I had a fantastic holiday, not enough hours to do all I wanted to, Nice has so much to offer.

The apartment is roomy, bright, tastefully furnished and very comfortable

Convenience of lift from hall door to apartment door was a plus and the apartment itself is equipped to the highest standard.

A gorgeous, comfortable, well situated apartment.

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely, well appointed apartment. The accommodation was superb, well decorated, clean, and large enough for six adults to stay comfortably. It has all the home comforts you require for a relaxing stay, with the added joy of the Riviera sunshine. The apartment is everything you expect from the French Riviera right from the moment you enter the apartment building, the decor, the lift, right to the front door of the apartment. The balcony was a joy, we sat sat on it in the morning sun with croissant and fresh coffee and in evening sunshine with a glass of something special.

The apartment is close to local amenities, within walking distance are local shops, plus some great designer boutiques, local cafés, superb restaurants and the Promenade des Anglais. The old town is fantastic, very beautiful with some lovely restaurants and bars and within walking distance.

Local transport links are excellent, taxis, buses and the train are all easily accessible. The owners have kindly provided plenty of local information for you to get the most out of your stay, we particularly enjoyed The Matisse Museum and our day at Monaco.

I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Nice. It is great place to stay to relax, explore and enjoy all that Nice and the French Riviera has to offer.

Spacious, light and a pebbles throw from the beach

Bright airy and modern apartment, in a tradition building a couple of minutes from the front. Went for an early season short break and it was just the ticket, literally 10 minutes taxi drive from the airport the arrival was stress free. The deceptively large place was furnished with a mixture of new and antique, a personal touch that meant it didn't feel generic. Apart from eating and drinking well (there is no shortage of choice) didn't really get out to explore too much in the short period I was there, except the Matisse Museum and a short train trip to Monaco, just to say I'd been there. My trip was a quickie, but it does leave me with the excuse that I just have to come back.

From the Airport

Taxi ranks are easily found at all terminals and once inside will take around 20 minutes to reach your apartment in Nice. The 98 express Airport shuttle bus is easy, cheap and convenient . It runs every half hour during the day, with less frequent service in the evenings and early mornings. Buses operate until 11:30pm (23:30). If you take the bus, we will meet you at the bus stop Congrès Promenade, it is then a five minute walk to your apartment.

From the Train Station

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville. From there, you can walk to the apartment in about 15 minutes. You may prefer to take a bus to the apartment. To take a bus to the Serenity apartment, it is best to use the Nice Riqiuer train station and use bus number 7, to the Rivoli stop. From there, it is an easy walk to the apartment that will take about three minutes. If you wish to take a taxi, the taxi rank is located outside the front entrance of Gare Nice Ville and the journey to Serenity will take approximately five minutes. We can meet you at the tram stop or outside the apartment building, as you prefer. You can book in advance through our site.

By Car

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A car park near the apartment is Palais Massena at 29 Promenade des Anglais, which is a five minute walk to the apartment. Alternatively, parking may be available in Parking Meyerbeer at 3 Rue Meyerbeer and requires a walk of about five minutes. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details. Unfortunately, you can expect to pay a day for parking in central locations. We can meet you at the car park or outside the apartment as you prefer.
