A Super Cottage With Secure Garage & Private Rear Garden & Direct Water Views

New thia season!! Enjoy wonderful water views of boats and harbour from this spacious, appealing holiday home.

Harbour side Cottage is a bright and comfy terraced waterside home with direct views of Portreath Harbour. With unlimited Wi-Fi, the accommodation offers two bedrooms on the second floor; the master bedroom which has double aspect views on the harbour and the sea out to Gull Rock with a king size divan bed plus a smaller bedroom ideal for children or teenagers with bunk-beds*. A good sized shower & WC is also on the upper floor.

On the first floor is an open plan living room with fully fitted and equipped kitchen has French doors opening onto a Juliette balcony that also looks down on the harbour boats and the changing tides.

The entrance hall leads to the garage with washing machine and tumble dryer and out to the lawned rear garden perfect for evening barbecues.

Harbour side Cottage is well placed to give easy level access to the beaches, pubs, shops and public transport. For those who love walking and biking the South West Coast path leads to Gwithian to the south and Porthtowan and St Agnes to the North. The mining trails lead directly from Portreath to Devoran and a gentle cycle will take you there for lunch.

Just up through Illogan woods is the lovely Gwel an Mor resort offering visitors indoor swimming and gym facilities as well as tennis for a small fee. They have a collection of animals on view including Raindeer, donkeys and chickens. Birds of Prey are often on show on selected days.

Tehidy woods and the Golf Course also has places to eat and a lovely lake with swans, ducks and squirrels and lots more besides.

The children will enjoy a visit to The Cornish Gold Mine, Mount Hawke Skate Park, and Mountain Bike and BMX tracks nearby. In the village there is a children's park and gardens.

The local towns of Redruth and Camborne are a great place to shop and hunt a bargain, with main supermarkets available at Pool.

Holiday makers will find it hard not to relax and unwind in this lovely spot and with the added welcome gifts including cream tea, wine and basic provisions including ground coffee for the cafitiere, toys for the beach and videos for the kids, everyone will enjoy their stay.

Jeeny is the owner but she has kindly put this holiday home in my hands for safe keeping whilst she enjoys here travels in the USA. This is Graham (my partner) and I who run Home Cornwall - a business set up to offer a new approach to caring for property.

It's right on harbour front and a level work to all the local amenities which include a bakery and a lovely well-being centre. The beaches are sandy and the walks are fabulous. Gentle or hard biking routes run from every corner of the village.

What makes this cottage unique

Lovely big bedroom overlooking the harbour with plenty of room for a cot, so there is a possibility to accommodate four plus a little one. The garage can make a great play room or wet suit store. It's a fun place to be in summer and a fascinating place to be in winter.
