About Alastair G.
Brought up in the Far East and Australia.I am fascinated by design and making a space work.
Alastair G. purchased this apartment in 2007
Why Alastair G. chose Hackney
Grayson Perry said he really could not trust the taste of anyone living west of Marble Arch.Yes Shoreditch can overdo the hipster element, but right now it is without doubt the most exciting location to be in London.Saves a lot on taxis!
What makes this apartment unique
Very unusual to get a property of these enormous proportions in central London.Wonderful light streaming in from large industrial windows in the vast open plan living space overlooking views of the trees of Calvert Ave and the spire of St Leonards Church(1730's).
Guestbook comments from the owner
After walking up four flights, we entered a light, airy and beautiful space. We were met by Alastair, who couldn't have been more helpful. Extension cord, no problem. Fan, no problem. Easy as could be and the flat is spacious and lovely right in the center of hip happening Shoreditch next to the Ace Hotel. Tons of restaurants to choose from. Bars, clubs, markets, shops. Shoreditch has it all. You just have to choose. From Jamie Oliver's 15 to The Ace Hotel to Albion to Rochelle Cantina - you can't go wrong. It became our very own little Tower of London. Beware, Friday and Saturday nights are jamming!
