I am Scottish and grew up in Glasgow. I am married to an Egyptian and came to El Gouna on holiday in 2006 for the first time. I currently live with my husband and son in London. I spend lots of time in El Gouna any chance I get.
I came to El Gouna in 2006, fell in love with the place and decided I wanted to buy a place here, spend time and eventually retire in this beautiful area. Every time I come to El Gouna I feel I never want to leave. For me it is truly my utopia.
I purchased this property for a few reasons but the location overlooking the lagoon was key. It is quiet here but you can go out and be in the middle of things very quickly. To sit by the pool in the morning having breakfast in the sun is glorious or an early morning swim. Dinner outside is great fun too.
