There are vaulted ceilings, reclaimed wooden beams and reclaimed clay rooftops which all results in a first class, yet unassuming villa.

10m x 5m heated pool
Underfoot heated pool area
8 sun loungers
A large area with French windows that slide into the walls should you wish to benefit from more space and enjoy the outside inside. Perfect for lazy evenings.
There are two large cream leather sofas that can seat six, a large wooden coffee table, a large monochrome rug and plenty of lamps and simplistic modern soft furnishings. The vaulted ceiling, wooden beams, inset bookcases with hardback classic books and fireplace, with log fire and chimney marry the traditional with the modern.
For entertainment there is a 42-inch television with French TNT channels, a home cinema system with sound bar.
If guests decide to take advantage of the outside area just off the living area, then there are eight sun loungers, drinks tables and a love seat on the patio area off the living room. Guests can choose to enjoy this area separate to the living area, or adjoined by sliding back the patio doors. If guests decide to separate the areas, then there are two Diakin air-conditioning units for guests' comfort.
As you would expect from a villa of this calibre, there is no expense spared in the fixtures and fittings and guests can enjoy ample workspace provided by the marble worktop and all amenities including two ovens, a large gas hob and griddle, microwave, large American fridge freezer with ice-maker and a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is ample room for casual and formal dining at the large table that seats six, or for a full sit down meal the table in the loggia outside (with underfloor heating if necessary) seats twelve.
The dining area looks out onto the garden at one side and the pool and loggia area at the other.
The master bedroom makes up the whole of the first floor. It has a King Size bed with bedside drawers, a large chest of drawers and double wardrobe, all in a silver finish. Leading off from the master bedroom is a large patio area with plenty of space for sun loungers. Perfect if you prefer to soak up the sun in the privacy of your own terrace, or enjoy watching the sun set with evening cocktails.
Also off the master bedroom is a large en-suite bathroom with bath and shower attachment, separate shower, large built-in vanity unit with double wash basins.
There is a separate WC next to the bathroom.
The other four bedrooms are on the ground floor, two with en-suites, and two sharing one large bathroom. All of these bedrooms have double beds with bedside lamps, drawers and built in wardrobes. Three of the bedrooms have French windows with shutters leading onto the manicured gardens.
Please note that although there are five double bedrooms, we can only accommodate a maximum of eight guests at the villa.
The four full bathrooms, three being en-suite and one servicing two of the five bedrooms, are all tiled in the Robert Dallas signature hand-crafted tiles.
The master en-suite on the first floor is tiled in grey, the two en-suites downstairs in mustard and dusky pink and the larger bathroom that services the two other bedrooms in lilac.
All the bathrooms have built in vanity units with ceramic wash basins and plenty of storage, walk in showers, toilets and baths.
There is a separate WC in the hallway.
Guestbook comments from the manager
As our second visit to Provence comes to its inevitable close, we reflect on the outstanding beauty, stunning scenery and friendliness of the whole area. Add to this the fabulous weather and the magnificent food and wines on offer and what else would you want in life. The answer is probably a great villa. Well we found one – its name is La Sittelle, which means “beautiful spot” or “beautiful area” and it truly lives up to its name. Located just outside St Paul Du Vence it is quite simply stunning. On arrival we were amazed by its size and style, entering through electronically controlled security gates into the parking area. If first impressions were good, then entering the villa simply takes your breath away. A large hall way leads to a huge, bright lounge with high beamed ceiling, wide leather sofa's, and big wide screen television with separate sound system, backed up with many videos and games for the kids (where required). For those who like a quiet read around the pool, the room also boasts a large library of books all superbly bound and offering a wide range of subjects (must have cost a small fortune for some of the leather bound books).
The lounge leads to a light and very modern, nicely furnished kitchen and dining area with a large American style fridge offering cold water and crushed or cubed ice on demand. The doors of the dining room open up completely along the length of two walls and lead to the outside eating area, large patio and the superb pool with comfortable beds alongside. The area also supports an excellent BBQ facility along with an outdoor wine / beer cooler/fridge, both of which were well used on many occasions over our holiday (mosquito's can be a bit of a nuisance at times – use some protective spray/cream – it certainly helps). The beautiful gardens and large grassed area were well maintained and between the trees, offered fabulous views over the valley towards St Paul Du Vence. Bedrooms were very good, air conditioned and of the five available, three had on suite bathrooms, with the other two side by side sharing a very nice bathroom and shower facilities.
