You enter the apartment and walk down the mirrored hallway with an accented 'fleur de lis' feature wall. There is a crisp clean feel of freshness as you remove your coat and outdoor wear and hang it on the sparkling curved chrome hallway coat hooks. You're also greeted by vibrant aqua floral clusters in the vase just ahead.
You turn left into the kitchen-diner where you meet a cosy homely beach coloured cupboard and draw set beautifully contrasted by a duck-egg blue roller blind that relaxes your gaze. The ample size of the kitchen diner allows you to cast your eyes around at the attractive pictures on the wall displaying an inviting flocked pattern of swirls and shapes. You note the deep navy blue fridge freezer and feel assured at the extent of the well catered appliances throughout the kitchen diner.
You admire the breakfast bar and complimenting high stools that you imagine your early morning breakfast being served on.
You walk through to the lounge to be greeted once more by two modern attractive willow grey sofas with soft lime green deep-pile cushions along with sharp cream silk curtains that shimmer near the patio doors tempting your eyes to the wooden decked out door area. You pause and look to your right and see a well set dinning table with soft padded chairs and a dark-brown rich dining table with a lime green table run accompanied by cream table set mats.
You notice the warm flocked meadow yellow-leafed accented wallpaper flanked by the white cleanliness of the adjacent walls. The three patent mirrors surrounded in aqua frames reflect your pleasant smile and satisfaction as you pass them while slowly sliding open the double patin doors. As the soft silky curtains brush against your arms, you step out and hear the pleasant creak of the patio garden that is securely and privately surround by a deep brushed tree-branch screen that embodies the beauty of the outdoor space. You stroll over the length of the patio garden toward the shed where you note a barbecue stand as you pause for the exhilarating thought of smelling your favourite barbecued dish filling your nostrils with smells and flavours of outdoor cooking.
You step back inside and walk back toward the hallway and visit three double bedrooms where you meet warm cosy double beds bustling with feather filled duvets and pillows that invite your tiredness to put them to the test. The accented floral and striped wallpapered walls and beautifully contrasted roller blinds set your mood to the chill setting.
You step into the bathroom and meet nothing less than the sharp cleanliness and sparkle from the tiles to the vanity cabinet where a full cabinet length custom cut mirror reflects you longing gaze toward the shower area and past the glass shower screen.
You note the ornate glass speckled bathroom soap dispensers and tumblers set along with the cosy colourful towel sets.
You turn around and walk next door to the separate toilet and smile gladly that its separated so that your other guests could access without disturbing your greatly anticipated shower. You admire the limestone concealed shelving that meets the beautiful accented wallpaper of floral swirls that continue the inner calm theme that the rest of the amazing apartment has carried.
After storing your many bags and cases in the ample hallway cupboard you push it shut and head to the wine glass cabinet in the kitchen diner.

I grew up in London and have lived there all my life despite having a Caribbean heritage. I went to a local school called Holloway School for Boys, then the local sixth form college and eventually graduated from University College London.
I now live in Spain in a beautiful town called Altea on the Costa Blanca and have just recently had our third baby boy.

I first bought this property when I just started out in my career and have an inseparable attachment to it that I can only like to the attachment that I have to my family. This is the first apartment that my first baby daughter lived in with me and I absolutely love this apartment and will never let it go because I feel like it is a part of me and is a constant reminder of my beginnings to fatherhood and maturity.
The patio garden and the size of the kitchen-diner always gave me that feeling of closeness that I experienced with my new family when my baby daughter born. Many a barbecue and delicious dinner was cooked in these spaces and the warm close atmosphere of love and appreciation still lingers in those spaces to this very day!
This amazing comfortable apartment straddles two of the most renowned areas in central London, namely Islington and Dalston Kingsland effortlessly caters for 10 persons with three double rooms and additional use of the lounge.
The apartment also features a patio garden for outdoor barbecues and entertaining. Transport/bars/food and entertainment are literally a stones throw.
The apartment is perfectly positioned for all the the transport links. It is a 1 minute walk to the bus stops on Kingsland High road. It is 4 minutes walk to the London Overground station Dalston Kingsland and 5 minutes walk to the the Dalston Junction tube station. The apartment comfortably fits 8 persons and and also has a fantastic patio garden for entertaining and eating outdoors during the warmer months. The apartment is spacious and cosy and boasts a homely décor that is both warm and inviting.
The vibrant blend of cultures sets Dalston and Stoke Newington apart in this part of East London. With this powerful mix comes the food that reflects most international cuisines from West Indian to Spanish. The blend is also reflected in the beverages that ought to be sampled from the plethora of local bars and cafes. There are also amazing street food fests where renowned restaurants and upcoming eateries exhibit samples of their best dishes. This should not be missed.
Local open spaces such as Clissold park and Newington Green park are ideal for relaxing and calm strolls are to be had here in abundance.
You will have access to the local vibrant markets, bars, cafes and restaurants that embody the true eclectic mix of the east end of London. The local Jazz bars, Turkish baths and Tapas bars are all literally a stones throw from the apartment.
There is earth of events and things to do locally which typically include live gigs at the Shackle well Arms form many touring bands and artist. Other venues to keep an eye on include Oro Wine Bar and Servant Jazz Quarters.
Then you have the local clown church where there is one optimum day each year when you should visit the Holy Trinity Church on Forest Road. Grimaldi Day takes place in February and commemorates the life of England’s most famous clown, Joseph Grimaldi, with a service attended by the entertainer’s comedic bredrin from all over London. But it’s known as the clown church the rest of the year round as well and you can see a small collection of Grimaldi photographs and other items.
Markets include Ridley road market where you can purchase almost anything that you can imagine! This is about a five minute walk from the apartment. Additionally, you have a more tourist friendly Broadway market near London Fields where you will find a host of up and coming Londoner's showcasing amazing fashion, food and art and that's just for starters.
For theatre you have the Arcola Theatre that nobly lets you pay what you can every Tuesday evening. The suggested donation is £5, a considerable discount on performances which would normally cost up to £18, but the venue stresses there is no restriction either way to how much you choose to pay. There are 40 tickets held back for the offer every week, and you can choose from either of the shows which are normally taking place. Tickets are limited to two per person and can’t be booked in advance. Check the Arcola Theatre website for details of current performances.
For galleries; there are at least seven galleries in Dalston which invariably have some kind of show on and it won’t cost you anything. Start off at Transition Gallery just off Broadway Market. Head up through London Fields and keep going north until you hit Hackney Downs Studios, where you’ll find not only A-side B-side Gallery but the recently opened Atomica gallery. Backtrack slightly to Ridley Road Market with the Invisible Line Gallery at the Dalston Lane end and Doomed Gallery halfway down. Just round the corner to the Print House Gallery then back up the road to Gillett Square where you can finish off at Bombast Gallery. These are all walking distance.
You also have the Eastern Curve Garden which is another of Dalston’s best-kept secrets. This is again just a few minutes walking distance.
For slightly further a-field attractions there are the Dickens Museum, the London Canal Museum, Camden Passage Antiques Market, Chapel Market, Columbia Road Flower Market, Brick Lane, Spitalfields and Petticoat Lane. These can all be reached with a short bus ride.
Thea local area is family friendly with attractions like the Geffrye Museum and its splendid Kids’ Zone and the V&A Museum of Childhood. There is an abundance of parks and outdoor spaces such as Highbury Fields, London Fields, Clissold Park and De Beauvoir Square. There is a wide array of child friendly cafes both on Kingsland Road and Stoke Newington.
Additionally the Emirates football stadium is within walking distance, or a quick bus ride away.
