Villa Nova is in a quiet area but very accessable to all the theme parks, Disney 10 Minutes, Sea World 20 Minutes, Universal Studios 30 Minutes, Bushe Gardens at Tampa 1Hour, retail outlets like Lake Buena Vista & Premium Outlets etc. as well as natural areas like the gulf/space coast/ beaches, gardens & eco areas like Bok Tower & Silver Springs , Museums like The Dali at St Petersburg and Tiffany/Morse at Winter Park. Very safe for children. Pets welcome.
This is a rural location right on the Oceola/Polk line and with the prestigious Reunion & Champions Gate golf resorts minutes away, and Posner Park retail Mall only 10 minutes and 1 stop down the I4 for some retail therapy. Disney only 10 minutes NE. as is Kissimmee with all the shows, Old Town and furhter stores, on the 192
There are new stores a few minutes drive [or even walk] with gas, supermarket, food, bank, pizza hut, nail bar, CVC drug store & flower shop at Ovation Mall. The 192 Kissimmee is about 10 minutes North by the 545, with all the tourism shops, shows and restaurants plus Old Town to browse through on vintage car night etc.
Orlando, Sanford & Tampa Airports 30 minutes, an hour and 1hr 15 distant. The Gulf and Space coasts are approx. 1 Hour 30 max. . International Drive, Sea World, Universal and all the Outlet Malls average of 20 - 30 minutes.
10 mins South on US 27 you have Posner Park, a new retail outlet, and a further 10 minutes mins. Mannies Chop House, great fun of an early evening. You will pass a great ice cream shop on the way.There are 3 Walmarts kinda equidistant, 1 at Southern Dunes on the 27 south, another at Clermont on the 27 North, and a third in Kissimmee.
Other Activities: Disney, Universal, Sea World, Celebration, International Drive, 192 Kissimmee with all shows and shopping and several outlet malls close by.
Have brunch at the 60's retro cafe on the corner of Market St, Celebration and browse the Sunday craft market or enjoy a real American diner at Mannies Chop House, Haynes City on the 27, or even a 'posh' lunch at Pipers Grill part of the Champions Gate Golf complex.
Drive a bit further for Legoland, Bok Gardens, Silver Springs and Winter Park - all excellent and very different days out.
Try Boggy Creek air boat rides and also the petting farm if young children with you, both locally.
If Musems of interest, the Tiffany museum at Winter Park, where you can also boat around the islands, is a good day out in the arts and crafts little town - about an hour north. The Dali Museum at St Petersburg is also amazing. You can explore some great gulf beaches around St. Petes, or Clearwater Check times for Dali museum opening as can vary - there is an airport cafe, which is excellent, almost opposite.for breakfast, lunch etc.
Golf: There are many golf courses in the area and we have further details in the villa. Polo Park on ther hwy 27 was $15 Dec. 2012, this with golf cart - excellent.
