Central 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Comfortable First Floor Apartment

A sunny south-east facing apartment in a quiet development freshly furnished for 2014 with the city centre attractions on its doorstep. The Playhouse theatre, Omni Centre (cinemas and restaurants), St James Centre (shopping), Tourist Information Centre and Princes Street are all within a 10 minute walk.

Both bedrooms have double beds with duvets and pure cotton bedding, and benefit from fitted wardrobes and drawer storage. One bedroom has en-suite facilities with a shower cubicle. Each has a hair dryer with convenient mirror. There is a separate bathroom with a thermostatic shower over the bath.

The lounge is bright and spacious with a bay window. It has leather sofas and is equipped with a flat screen TV and Blu Ray/DVD/Audio player. The bookcase has some DVDs, CD's, books and games for your enjoyment as well as tourist information. Unlimited free WiFi is provided. Please note that the apartment is for non-smoking guests only and is not suitable for children.

There is a fully equipped dining/kitchen which comfortably seats four adults. The equipment includes a gas hob and electric fan oven with grill, fridge, microwave oven, and a washer/dryer. The kitchen is well supplied with cookware should you wish to prepare more than breakfast.

A full central heating system provides heating and a plentiful supply of hot water. In addition, the lounge has a fireplace with electric fire.

The apartment is very centrally situated and a car is not necessary to enjoy all of Edinburgh's attractions. However, if you are travelling by car, there is free parking adjacent to the apartment by way of a parking permit, available on arrival.

The lift provides easy transport of your luggage to the apartment on the first floor.

Nice and clean apartment within walking distance

The apartment was nice and clean and perfect for two couples. It is situated near a lot of restaurants and within walking distance from shops and railway station. We were playing golf so the parking was very important for us. The Italian restaurants near the apartment were very good. The property manager welcomed us with shortbreads and we could make a cup of coffee before we went out shopping. The kitchen was well equipped. I will absolutely recommend the apartment to friends and if or when I come back to Edinburg I will also come back to the apartment.

A quiet street near the heart of the City!

This was a super, comfortable apartment within 10 minutes walk of the city centre. The beds were new and the bathrooms ideal for the three of us - we didn't feel on top of each other! The kitchen was very well equipped although we only ate in on one evening - there were so many cafes and restaurants within five minutes walk. I would happily recommend this property to friends. The apartment was clean and the welcome from the managers was warm and friendly - thankyou for the milk - we could have a cuppa on arrival!

Very central & quiet location

We arrived very late, Joan & her husband was waiting to meet us, the apartment is well maintained & spotless clean, 2 showers was good, with 4 people getting ready for a wedding, kitchen had all you need for your stay, with so much to see & do in Edinburgh this was very close to city centre, but also quiet, just a few min from a supermarket, bars & many eating places, the apartment has a secure entry system, we only stayed 2 nights, all information & directions were very good & easy to follow, thank you very much for a wonderful weekend at our niece's wedding, hope to see you sometime again.

Great property, great location!

Spent the weekend in this apartment over Easter. Very good location, about a 15-20 min walk from the Royal Mile. The flat itself was spacious, clean and much nicer and more affordable than a hotel. Owners were very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended!

You will be spoiled for choice of things to see and do in Edinburgh but here are some of the most popular. Historical sites include Edinburgh Castle, The Camera Obscura, Holyrood Palace, The Georgian House, the Museums of Scotland, the National Galleries of Scotland and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Enjoy the outdoors with a walk around the Royal Botanic Garden, Inverleith Park, Princes Street Gardens or Holyrood Park, explore the village of Stockbridge with its individual shops and cafes, climb Calton Hill for a great view of Edinburgh and the River Forth, or visit the Giant Pandas - and a lot more - at Edinburgh Zoo. Many of these are within easy walking distance of the apartment but Edinburgh also has a comprehensive bus service for getting around. The nearest bus stop is only 200 metres from the apartment. Open top double deck bus tours are provided by a number of operators and are a great way of seeing the city.

You can shop until you drop in the major outlets on Princes Street and George Street which run parallel. Ocean Terminal Mall is in Leith next to the Royal Yacht Britannia and, slightly further afield, on the west side of the city is the Gyle Shopping Centre. Both are easily reached by bus.
