Comfortable, Relaxing Vacation

This was the second time we rented this sweet cottage on beautiful Small Point, and five years was far too many in between visits! Kathy's cottage is exactly as portrayed in the pictures, clean as a whistle, and very comfortable, making for the most relaxing of vacations. We just love this little section of Maine, eating delicious dinner at Anna' Water's Edge restaurant next door to the cottage, gorgeous Popham Beach, poking around the shops in the city of Bath, breakfast at Mae's, kayaking the New Meadows River, even headed to Boothbay one day for a day trip out to lovely Monhegan Island. One of my favorite things to do is to check the little rocky beach at the cottage every day at low tide to see what washed up, found lots of unusual lavendar sea glass. The sunroom of the cottage is my favorite spot, for morning yoga followed by coffee, and evening reading or tv. Whether you want downtime or an on the go vacation, this quiet, peaceful cottage is the perfect place to base yourself.

Owner's Response: Thank you, Beth. Phippsburg is indeed a special place, and I know I often take living so close to the ocean for granted. You and your family were certainly never at a loss for things to do, and it was a pleasure having you again as guests. For folks who have never been to the Maine coast, a trip should definitely be on their to do list!
