Photos and Description of this 5 bedroom holiday home in West Kensington - Caithness Road
5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home ideal for families and friends alike
All together now
You don’t need to have children to adore Caithness Road. Awash with sunshine and glowing a rainbow of primary colours, its rooms are filled with graceful furniture, funky textiles and energetic art. But, it must be said that if you do have a family, this home truly comes into its own. Toys, books and games are everywhere, and even those reluctant to go to bed might find themselves persuaded by a chance to sleep in a racing car. Just a walk or a bus ride from the museums, from Holland Park and Kensington Gardens. Head down to Hammersmith and the river, or zip into town. You’d never guess it, but these quiet streets are some of the best connected in London.
You belong to me
Your hostess is from Surrey, and she was brought to West Kensington by your host, a London native. Lawyers both, they’ve two young boys, and they spend their weekends hiking in the hills.
Clap your hands
The key word in this home is space. Space for adults and children to co-exist without treading on one another’s literal, or metaphorical, toes. The large and beautiful eat-in kitchen opens out onto a patio garden, with potted herbs, outdoor furniture and even a Wendy house. The parquet-floored sitting room is divided into a zany playroom and the more formal adults’ living room, where the palette is soft and the two couches are lit by a wall of windows. Upstairs, the master bedroom has its own miniature sitting room in the sky, with a tv and even a tiny dining table – perfect for a secret breakfast à deux. There are two further doubles, one with a piano, and two cute singles. These are the bedrooms of your young hosts, and they’ve generously agreed to allow you full access to their exceptional toy box.

About Owner / Property Manager
onefinestay gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they're out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.
Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room. And there's service to match.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose West Kensington
Fly the nest
You’re only a bus ride from the museums, from the elegant streets of Kensington and from Knightsbridge’s glitzy boutiques. Closer to home, there's Holland Park for picnics, Hammersmith for bars and restaurants, and, for shopping, the fashion mecca that is Westfield. Best of all, you’re surrounded by tube stations, so it's easy to whizz across town… the tube from Hammersmith to Covent Garden takes less than twenty minutes.
What makes this house unique
Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room, with online payment and confirmation. You get the same attention to detail and personal service too.
Every home is properly cleaned before and after you stay, beds made (we can even do hospital corners) and bathrooms kitted out with luxury toiletries. There’s a maid service if you want it, as well as other hotel-style amenities.
Once we’ve helped you settle in, we’re just a call away, 24/7. If it’s something we can’t solve over the phone, we’ll pop over to lend a hand.
And because nobody wants to be a tourist, our homes come with personal and unique recommendations from the people who live in them – places to eat, things to do and adventures to go on.
