This beautiful, high spec apartment is the ideal base to relax and explore the platinum west coast. The property is on the first floor offering expansive views of the tropical gardens and coast. The two double bedrooms have air conditioning and fans. The master bedroom has a luxurious four poster bed facing the French doors that open out on to the huge veranda enjoying the wonderful views. There are two bathrooms, one en-suite to the master.

The spacious living area includes a kitchen, a dining area with a table that seats six and is of contemporary style with carefully chosen furnishings. The veranda is the ideal place to enjoy outdoor living, with it’s plantation shutters offering privacy whilst you rock in the hammock enjoying the tropical breeze.

Vuemont has over 70 acres of stunning gardens for you to experience along with sun decks, tiered swimming pools, lap pool at the clubhouse with fantastic views over the west coast. There is free WiFi, an air conditioned gym, flood lit tennis courts, heated jacuzzi and viewing pergolas.

The apartment is well located to enjoy the array of high class renowned restaurants, beach bars and entertainment along the west coast.

Beautiful Vuemont
The perfect spot for a laid back Barbados break. The apartment is pretty and comfortable. It is just as described with all you need to relax and enjoy yourselves. The beds are supportive and beautifully dressed. Air con works well when you need it. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. Located 10 mins drive to the beach or cafes and restaurants of Speightstown, 3 mins to the well stocked local supermarket, the resort is in a great location. It is away from the main road so you can’t hear traffic but you still have sea views from the pool and as you walk around the complex. From here with a car you can explore much of the N W and E of the island with ease. The community feels very safe and is quiet. We often had the lap pool and gym to ourselves. Nick and Marcelle really have thought of everything. Couldn’t recommend a stay here more highly.

Adorable secret hideaway
We love Speightstown and wanted to stay close to it again and were so glad that we discovered 267 Vuemont for the first (but hopefully not the last) time! A gated community of beautiful apartments and 267 is one of the best locations on site. It is on the upper floor and has a delightful veranda with an oh so comfy hammock. The hosts were brilliant in their communications and any questions asked either before or during our stay were swiftly answered.The clubhouse is just great with fabulous views and comfy chairs and loungers set around the pool. There was a great welcome pack that more than catered for out of shopping hours arrivals hours and there is also a great local supermarket just down the road from Vuemont. So, if you want a touch of the real Barbados just a few minutes drive from lovely beaches, the small town of Speightstown that has everything one needs in terms of food, drink and atmosphere then 267 ticks all those boxes - and more.

We stayed here for three weeks in January 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is exactly as described and was kept spotlessly clean (a lovely lady came twice to change the bedding and thoroughly clean). The bedrooms are spacious as is the large balcony where we spent a lot of time...dining outside is such a pleasure at any time but especially in January! Communications with the owner was always prompt and helpful. We cooked for ourselves about 50% of the time and found the kitchen and kitchenware to be sufficient. A welcome pack of bread, wine, milk etc was there on our late evening arrival and was very much appreciated. The development - as indeed is Barbados - is very pleasant and safe. The grounds are tended daily and along with the swimming pools are kept in immaculate condition. The development was very quiet while we there...mostly Over 50 ‘s British. There is some socialising around the pool but apart from a weekly drinks get together early on a Monday evening not a lot goes on. The fine tennis courts appeared to be unused by the residents during the whole time we were there. A hire car is absolutely essential. You will not manage without one. Car hire is expensive in Barbados but we nonetheless felt the benefits of self-catering in a quiet environment outweighed staying at a beach hotel. The car gave us the opportunity to tour the whole island. We loved the Atlantic Coast especially Bath, Bathsheba and Barclays and it made visits to the horse racing at Garrison and polo at Holder’s Field very easy. On the West coast our favourite beaches were Heywoods and Gibbes but Sandy Lane is well worth a walk. There are no sun beds and shades for hire at any of them. Favourite restaurants were the Fish Pot and Sea Shed but nothing beat the set lunch at Tides in Holetown. Go ahead and book it!

Just Fantastic!
Barry and Paula said... We had a wonderful two week experience at 267atVuemont in February 2018. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly security staff, who were expecting us, and were directed to this spacious and beautifully decorated first floor apartment. This 2 double bedroom, two bathroom apartment is tastefully furnished, and has everything needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday. It is cooled by the natural breeze that the property benefits from, being set upon the ridge of Mount Brevitor, but if required, can be cooled further by either air-conditiong or ceiling fans. Early in our stay, we received a planned visit from the wonderful Rosita, a local lady who is responsible for the cleaning and day to day management of the property. Rosita guided us on every aspect of the apartment, and local area, and was available at the end of the phone for any queries that arose. The views from the huge verandah were of the extensive and manicured Caribbean gardens, and to the front of the property, sea views from the elevated position. There are three pools available, a jacuzzi, plus a Clubhouse and gym, all set in landscaped gardens. We saw green monkeys, and birds of all description, living in this delightful environment. The property is a short drive to the town of Speightstown, which provides everything required practically, plus a fish market, local food kiosks, including vegan, restaurants of all types, bars and beaches. It is also very close to the incredibly beautiful Port St Charles, where super-yachts visit daily. In conclusion, we had a wonderful holiday experience, in a delightful and safe environment, situated near a lovely authentic Caribbean town, and will be returning as often as possible.

Wonderful vacation
We enjoyed our stay. The property was lovely. Clean, well equipped. Being up high it was so cool no need for air. The gym was great and the walking trails were a workout. The whole property was clean. The people were nice. My only complaint was there was no good light for reading at night. A floor lamp would be nice. All was good. We love Barbados. I would stay there again. Thank you.
