Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday apartment in Greenwich Village - Bogart Street
1 bedroom, 1 bathroom home has everything you need for a relaxing stay
A sophisticated, masculine air resonates throughout this Greenwich Village grotto. Artefacts from far-flung realms have washed up on its shores, like stylish antique furnishings and subdued geometric paintings. Paddle out through tree-lined streets to explore the Village's tangled byways – troves of dazzling treasures can be found in the quaint shops, and the bustling eateries are swimming with delicacies to sample.
When he's not splashing about in the outdoors with his two young sons, our Neptune is kept busy to the gills co-managing a local tech company. A Philadelphia native, he drifted to New York City nearly twenty years ago and has never looked back.
Sink beneath the choppy waves of Greenwich Village, where you'll find this tranquil refuge. Soothing underwater shades of seafoam green and glassy teal flow throughout, accented with natural textures. Painted tin ceilings, unique mouldings, and ornate marble fireplaces are among the home's original details. Rustic statuettes are scattered about, and on a side table a tumble of aquamarine gems look as though they've been stolen from a mermaid's jewel cache. A well-appointed modern kitchen is perfect for preparing the day's catch, and when the siren call of the bedroom beckons, you'll find a sumptuous king bed with a black marble mantle as a headboard.

With a past as storied as the tomes penned by literary giants who once walked its cobblestone streets, Greenwich Village is quite possibly New York’s most intriguing neighbourhood.
Over time, the Village has dramatically transformed from a quiet rural hamlet to a bohemian fount of alternative culture and finally, to the highly affluent and immensely sought-after neighborhood it is today.
Exempt from Manhattan’s no-nonsense city grid, its warren of tree-shaded streets is a delight to get lost in: flowerbox-decorated Greek revival row houses give way to charming sidewalk cafes and fetching independent boutiques, as well as lovely little outposts of designer brands.
Trend-setting rather than trendy, here farm-to-table restaurants coexist with wonderfully inventive dim sum and new-wave sushi eateries.
With New York University and The New School nearby, students comprise a significant part of the population, which adds preternaturally fun pubs, live music venues, and comedy clubs to the mix.
Washington Square Park remains the verdant heart of the neighborhood, wonderful for watching an impromptu art performance, observing a game of chess or simply sitting on a park bench for a conversation, as Mark Twain and Robert Louis Stevenson were once wont to do.
