Secluded, yet close to all amenities, the villa offers comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people. The main house has three double bedrooms and a further bedroom with a comfortable double sofa bed. There are two bathrooms, one ensuite, a well equipped kitchen, a living room with seating for 10 and an open fireplace and a dining room also with an open fireplace. There is central heating and air conditioning in all bedrooms and living room. The separate guest apartment has a double bedroom, kitchen/diner and a modern bathroom and also has heating and air conditioning.
The garden is terraced; at the top of the drive there is a parking area and a 'bocce, or boules court. Three further terraces, with trees for shade and ornamental shrubs, run alongside the driveway. At villa level there is a large panoramic terrace, a shaded gazebo for dining and an outdoors kitchen with gas hobs, sink and barbecue. There is a further terrace outside the guest apartment and steps going down to the pool . The pool is 10m x 4m and has an outdoor, solar heated shower
I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for not only a fabulous view BUT within 10 minutes of some of the most delightful villages in Puglia.
The house is situated on a hilltop however its easy to walk the area, even go down to the local shops....almost agricultural, with olive groves surrounding most of the properties.
The views are over the olive groves to the village of Locorotondo which stands regal, white and magnificent in the distance also San Marco to the right...at night the villages twinkle in the distance.
The house is exceptionally comfortable, stylish and with every amenity for guests to entertain...the outdoor areas are fantastic with terraces, outdoor kitchen with barbeque and gas stove top.
The pool had not been installed when I visited but how I would love to go back and take in some sun and swim with those extraordinary VIEWS!
Spotless and well maintained I would recommend to all.

When we arrived at the top of the driveway to Villa Delle Ginestra and looked out over the Valle D’itria with olives groves, Trulli houses and Locorotondo shining in the distance and we knew we'd found the perfect holiday escape. The more we saw the more we loved it!
Caroline, the manager greeted us and showed us through the main house which was light and airy with fresh flowers, wine and fruit and vegetables. She also gave us great information on the local area and things to see and do. What a lovely welcome!
The house is a Trulli that has been artfully renovated with an eye for authenticity and attention to detail. Every thing we could want for an enjoyable stay was here including a wonderfully cosy living room with fireplace and separate dining room with another fireplace and lovely wrought iron chairs made by a local artisan. (We'll need to come back when it's cooler to light the fires!)
The bedrooms are light and airy with reverse cycle air conditioning and lovely quality linens. We found ourselves giving each room a name for it's distinctive decor. The living we called the Roman room! The kitchen is fully equipped with close away washing machine but the fabulous outdoor bbq area, massive terrace and perfumed gardens are where we spent our early mornings and balmy evenings when not discovering the delights of nearby villages and towns. The pool wasn't in when we were staying but it was an easy 15 minute drive to the coast and some lovely little swimming coves.
I'm coeliac and found everything I needed for home cooking in a health food shop in nearby Fasano where's there's also a gluten free pizza restaurant. 2 weeks wasn't long enough!
This is a gem, a very comfortable, stylish house set outside the town of Fasano with beautiful views across the valley to Locorotonda. Great kitchen and separate dining room so you can indulge your passion of cooking with the amazing local produce. Spacious bedrooms, good sized living room and a very large upper terrace adjoining the house with a gazebo and outdoor kitchen. Perfect spot for alfresco breakfast and evening drinks. So many places of interest to explore within a few hours drive plus it was so relaxing just to sit and enjoy this house and gardens. Coming from Australia this was a little slice of Italian heaven away from all the regular tourist spots. Highly recommended.
Four of us shared this house for a week. We felt totally at home and relaxed from the moment we entered the beautifully restored building and surrounds. A 'welcome pack' meant not having to immediately shop. The house is furnished tastefully throughout with great attention paid to even the smallest detail. The extensive outside terraces sit among carefully landscaped gardens and the views of the surrounding countryside are fabulous. We understand that a pool is to be completed and ready for the Summer and this will overlook the large orchard with its many olive and fruit trees at the rear of the property. The central location of this property means that the many wonderful activities and attractions of this area are all within easy driving. If you are looking for a top notch Pugliese experience then you could not go past this wonderful property. We could have stayed for ever!
The villa is close to Locorotondo, a pretty town with interesting churches, good restaurants and a weekly market. Fasano, a bigger town is also nearby and is worth visiting. Savelletri, an enchanting fishing village, with a beach is within a 15 minute drive, as is a championship golf course. Monopoli, another fishing town, with a baroque cathedral, medieval historic centre and selection of white sand beaches, is 20 minutes away and the villa is also well placed for exploring the whole of the Itria valley, including Martina Franca, famous for its Baroque architecture and Alberobello with its trulli. Cooking classes, wine tasting, boat trips, nature walks and guided tours can all be arranged locally
