We work harder so you can sleep better
All ApartmentsApart properties meet our high standards. We don't take a property on unless:
- it's near the ground floor or has an elevator
- has a decent kitchen
- is well located / convenient for public transport
- would meet the approval of the majority of our guests
And once we take a property on we:
- paint it up
- furnish it tastefully with furniture suitable to sleep as many guests as possible in comfort
- provide extra amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay like hair driers and internet
- supply a handbook for you so you can work the equipment in the apartment
- leave you some tips on the area and restaurants
We're sure that you'll love staying with us. We have hundreds of thousands of customers who already love our services. Why not make it one more?
The apartment was a bit disappointing, but I think it was a reflection of our unfamiliarity of Belgrade standards, rather than the ad being misleading. The walls were a bit dirty/grimey and could use a paint job, the elevator was ancient and had grafitti, and the building entry smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The patio was a rooftop, but the parapets were crumbling, the bathroom smelled musty. The bed sheets were clean, but the matresses were dirty, and the flooring was damaged in multiple places.
After spending a week in Belgrade, I think my impressions would have been kinder than this, our first impression, but we were expecting a modern/new/renovated place, and it was a tired, somewhat grim space, that reflected the need for a bit of investment. Belgrade is a beautiful city, full of energy and generous and kind people, but the infrastructure needs a lot of attention. This whole building is no exception. The host, Tina, tried to be quite helpful, but she was not in town and had a third party meet us with the key. We left after the first night even though we paid for two, and stayed a new hotel in New Belgrade.
Fine for a boys trip, not sure I'd take my family / girlfriend to this place.
