Right in the centre of the beautiful historical city of CAEN, an apartment on the 4th floor with lift. Two balconies look out on the tower of Escoville and the castle of CAEN.
Very beautiful modern decoration, very light, ideal for a couple to visit the lovely town of CAEN, go to restaurant by foot, spend the evening strolling through the lively quarters of CAEN and to visit the region with its D-Day beaches, Bayeux, Falaise and Swiss Normandy....A central location from where you can discover the region and enjoy the coast as well, only 25 minutes driving (Ouistreham, Courseulles, Cabourg ...)

I stayed in this flat for about 10 weeks in autumn 2014. The positives the apartment is full of light and nicely furnished, with a dining room, living room, kitchen and bedroom. There are balconies on both sides of the apartment and windows on two sides, which contributes to its light and airy feeling. Fabulous location in the center of Caen. It was also quiet at night, despite the sometimes raucous university students partying in the streets. The owner was very pleasant. Negatives there is some problem with the toilet, so that you cannot throw the toilet paper in the toilet but need to use a separate wastebasket. This was not ideal. The quality of the bed was fairly poor. I slept okay, but the mattress was thin and not good for people with back problems. Also, the kitchen is not very well equipped for those who like to cook. The pans are scratched and old, and I had to buy basics like a wooden spoon. One of the major problems with the flat is the lack of internet. For a short-term stay, however, it's a very good option.
