The area around Casa Daniela is rural countryside but also the villa is within a few minutes drive of the best beaches on the west and south west coast, including the Calas of secluded Carbo, a stone's throw from the villa; D'Hort with it's stunning backdrop of the islands of Es Vedra and little sister Vedranell; picturesque Vadella, perfect for families with small children; Jondal, home of the famous Blue Marlin and Tropicana beach clubs; charming Moli; busy but enjoyable Tarida ; Bassa with it's now famous Beach Club and Conta, Ibiza's jewel in the crown with it's stunning azure blue seas and amazing sunsets. To the south, the equally famous beaches of Las Salinas, near the salt flats, home of the Jockey Club and Sa Caleta, with it's 'chiringuitos' or beach restaurants. All the above beaches have beach restaurants, which are open all day and evening so enjoy that paella or taste the fresh fish, probably caught that morning.The charming village of Sant Josep, complete with it's chic boutiques and restaurants, is within a 10 minute drive; the bustling town of San Antonio, with it's brand new Yacht Club and Marina, as well as a host of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping centre and world famous Sunset Strip including Cafe del Mar and Mambo is within a 25 minute drive; as is the World Heritage City of Ibiza, with it's stunning ancient walled town, the D'Alt Vila, it's superb shops, restaurants, tapas bars and squares and not forgetting it's harbour and marinas.
The area around Casa Daniela, being officially classified as an area of outstanding natural beauty, is stunning, with it's green forests and countryside, dotted here and there with small farms/fincas and above it all, Sa Talaia, the highest point on the island, and accessible by car. For the adventurous, there are lots of options: charter a power boat/yacht for the day and visit Ibiza's little sister island Formentera - boat charters are available from Ibiza or San Antonio and they might even collect you at Vadella or Carbo, especially if you only want an afternoon's watersports; drive up to the north of the island and explore the caves at San Miguel; visit Es Cubells and Porroig, both within a 15 minute drive from the villa and enjoy a leisurely lunch in one of the most picturesque areas on the island - the list is endless, so just enjoy!
