Le Chevalier (150 sq. m + terrace) has just been refurbished to a very high standard. The owners, Juliet and Paul, are wine makers in Australia's Mornington Peninsula and have created 'the kind of warm and comfortable holiday home we have always looked for on our yearly visits to Burgundy. We love being in the centre of Puligny Montrachet and so close to the Grand Cru vineyards.' Spring garden and bric-a-brac markets, summer music and wine events, autumn Jazz, Christmas markets and winter wine festivals; there is always something going on no matter what time of the year.
Just across the square, la Boulangerie for your morning croissants, l'Epicerie for daily groceries, Julien's cool wine bar
for aperitifs, the popular village café, a choice of bistros and Le Montrachet, the Michelin starred restaurant; a full range of true French, gastronomic experiences right on your doorstep.
The comfy first floor living room with two big sofas, flat screen TV and i-pod docking station looks over the square and
up to Puligny Montrachet's famous vineyards. The living space opens through to the very sunny and fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining area with seating for 8. Full width sliding glass doors open directly onto the large paved, first floor terrace.
The First large bedroom suite on the ground floor is spacious and light with a queen size bed and shower room, wash basin and wc. Also at ground floor is a second bedroom with twin beds, ensuite shower room
and basin with a separate wc in the adjoining entrance hall.
The Second large bedroom suite at the top of the house enjoys commanding views over the village and the vineyards beyond. It has a queen size bed, ample wardrobe space and en-suite bathroom with large basin, wc, large bath tub and separate walk-in shower.
Outdoors... step out through glass sliding doors from the kitchen/dining area onto the large, paved terrace with outdoor dining for 8. A great place to relax.
Ancillary... The laundry room with washer, dryer and ironing facilities is separately located at the lower ground floor.
