Rendezvous at this plush and glossy central Bath townhouse maisonette for 6. Situated in a grand terrace, only a few minutes level walk to the city centre, this large and elegant Georgian home in dreamy shades of grey is a fashionable way to enjoy Bath. With a wealth of Georgian detail including high ceilings, tall sash windows and original decorative marble fireplaces in every room, all brought up-to-date with luxurious contemporary finishes, you can relax in style.

The Splendid living room with impressive windows overlooks a broad street of tall Bath stone terraces and has two stylish sofas (including a sofa-bed) and two armchairs to seat up to 8. A contemporary media cabinet has a large TV with DVD and Wi-Fi and is filled with games and books.

On this floor is a large bright master bedroom in grey and red to complement the decorative grey and red marble and tile fireplace. Two 3' single beds can be zipped together to become a 6' superking. There is a capacious contemporary wardrobe and dressing table/ desk with stool, along with a chest of drawers with a small TV.

Another, double room in serene grey and heather has a pretty decorative fireplace with shelf space in an alcove cupboard. This room has a 5' king size bed, a contemporary wardrobe and large dressing table/ desk with stool.

On this floor is a large period style master bathroom. The centrepiece is a free-standing roll-top bath set in front of an elegant decorative fire-place. This elegant room also has a large shower and hand basin with storage under, and further storage in a built-in cupboard beside the fireplace.

On the half landing leading downstairs is a compact contemporary shower room, tiled throughout in glossy grey, with a corner shower, hand basin and WC.

Downstairs is the final bedroom in restful grey and teal, which overlooks the courtyard. Two 3' single beds can once again become a 6' superking. There are two built-in wardrobes with shelf space, either side of a pretty decorative fireplace, along with a small dressing table.

The spacious kitchen/diner mixes country and contemporary style, with a combination of stripped pine floors, rustic kitchen table (to seat 8), original Georgian dressers and food cupboards, along with a run of contemporary fitted units with stone worktop and a sumptuous chandelier as the centre-piece. Catering is taken care of with the aid of a large range style cooker with a 5 ring gas hob, two ovens and a grill, also a microwave, dishwasher and large American style fridge with separate freezer. There is plenty of cupboard space with crockery, china and cookware. The tumble dryer is housed in one of the large built in cupboards.

In a separate vestibule leading out to the basement steps is a utility area with washing machine, large Belfast sink and worktop. Towards the back Courtyard is a little cloak room with hand basin (with storage under), and WC.

The house has a great central location and Bath has many beautiful historic sites, wonderful museums and galleries, good restaurants, lively bars, great entertainment and absolutely gorgeous shops and all within a short level walk. The Holborne Museum is around the corner which also features a lovely restaurant and coffee house with Sydney Gardens backing onto it. You can play tennis on the public courts in Sydney gardens or walk/bike along the scenic canal towpath for lovely views of Bath. For Bath Narrow boats and Bath Bike Hire tel. 01225 447276

In town book a show at the Theatre Royal, an evening at Komedia comedy club or a soothing session at the Thermae Spa.
