Photos and Description of this 4 bedroom holiday villa in Anghiari - Villino Vittoria
4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens & amazing grounds with breathtaking views
This unique villa is set within the Tuscan hills with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The villa is only a 10 minutes drive from the medieval, hilltop town of Anghiari and with its beautiful front and rear gardens, small woods and panoramic swimming pool makes the perfect all year round retreat. There are plenty of things to do for everyone, from walks in the local countryside, to day trips to famous historical cities in the vicinity or shopping trips both locally or to the designer outlets about an hour’s drive away or more simply, relaxing by the pool and soaking up the Italian summer sun.
Within the villa itself are 3 spacious double bedrooms, 1 spacious single bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a separate wc, a large kitchen complete with an original old stone fireplace, a games room and a formal dining room. The cantina on the lower floor provides an alternative space for dining and entertainment and includes a full sized table tennis table.
In addition to the villa itself there is an outbuilding connected to the rear of the property affectionately named ‘Papi House’ by the owner’s children. The Papi House contains a large fully fitted kitchen ideal for preparing food and snacks by the pool or evening meals in the garden overlooking the valley and bathroom with shower.
2 large terraces (east and west facing) provide quiet places to sit and enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside that surrounds the villa.
The landscaped garden has a beautiful newly built 10 m by 6 m panoramic pool and plenty of space for ball games.
Bedroom 1 – located on the second floor and consisting of double bed, fitted wardrobes, dressing table and balcony overlooking the rear garden and valley below.
Bedroom 2 – located on the second floor and consisting of double bed, fitted wardrobes and balcony overlooking the rear garden and valley below.
Bedroom 3 – located between the first and second floor and consisting of a double bed, fitted wardrobes, a desk and a ceiling to floor window overlooking the rear garden and valley below.
Bedroom 4 – located on the first floor and consisting of two single beds, wardrobes and a balcony overlooking the rear garden and valley below.
The villa has two bathrooms with showers (one on the lower ground floor and one on the first floor) and an additional toilet in the main house (on the first floor). An additional bathroom with shower is located in the outbuilding known as the ‘Papi House’.
The property has two fully fitted kitchens, one in the villa and one in the Papi House. Both are very well equipped and offer plenty workspace, an oven, a hob, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher.
The kitchen in the villa, which in winter months becomes the heart of the house, has a large open fire and comfortable sofa.
The villa boasts two beautifully panoramic terraces, one facing east with views over the pool, rear garden and the stunning valleys and hills below and one facing west with striking views over the surrounding woodland.
The east-facing terrace is roofed and is found at the top of the villa and has glass panels to ensure an unobstructed view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside making it an ideal refuge for anyone seeking some peace and quiet or inspiration.
The cantina on the ground floor has a bathroom with shower and a large multifunction room with floor to ceiling doors opening directly onto patios in the rear garden. The cantina can be used for indoor eating or simply to get away from the sun if it gets too warm. Alternatively, it is the perfect setting to challenge friends and family to a table tennis match on the full size table tennis table.
The fully fenced landscaped garden surrounds the property and offers a secure environment for children to play in with ample space for ball games and eating ‘al fresco’. Both the front and rear gardens have family friendly, flat, grass areas that are perfect for ball games or to run around. To the side of the house is a small woods which has proven popular for nerf gun battles!
The Papi House, located next to the cantina in the rear garden, has a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with shower making it possible to ‘live’ in the garden all day long, maximising pool and sun time.
There is a newly built in swimming pool with decked area for sunbathing and a pool side shower with truly stunning views of the surrounding valley. It is located close to ‘Papi House’ with a convenient kitchen and bathroom. This pool is a great addition to an already inviting home.

About Tracey Lega
Marcello and Fabiola bought the house for their family to enjoy on weekends and holidays, close to where they live - why would you waste valuable time travelling when you already live in a beautiful place! They restored the property and added some fabulous extras to accommodate their large extended family. The house has hosted many family parties and celebrations over the years - a family lunch for 30 is not unusual in Italy!
As the family has grown up and the children and nieces and nephews have all gone to university, it became less used and so last year they decided to market it for the first time as a holiday let. They still use the house themselves and it is much loved by the whole family.
Why Tracey Lega chose Anghiari
Fabiola's grandparents lived nearby and so she has fond memories of the area from when she was little. It is a beautiful location, set at the top of a hill with spectacular views from every aspect. Just 10 minutes in the car and you are in Anghiari, an amazing medieval town that has great restaurants, pizzerias and ice-cream!
What makes this villa unique
This property is managed by Tracey and Pierluigi Lega who own an estate agency/property management company that is based in Anghiari (we are also part of the extended family that have enjoyed Villino Vittoria over the years!). We are a bilingual team readily available to help you with any problems you may have during your stay and to ensure that you have a great holiday in our little corner of Tuscany.
Guestbook comments from the manager
We had been looking for a Villa near Anghiari for some time when we spotted Villino Vittoria. With 4 adults and 5 children of various
ages we wanted somewhere where the kids could play and have plenty of space to run riot without us having to worry about noise. The
garden is large with plenty of space for football and races. The kids spotted a comment on the website about it being great for nerf gun
battles and came armed! Many thanks to Tracey, the property manager for including nerf bullets in the welcome basket!
The swimming pool provided endless hours of entertainment for us all and the views from it are wonderful.
The house itself is spacious and having the second kitchen leading straight onto the garden was a huge bonus and this was where we tended to
congregate as a group.
The terraces were gorgeous and to be honest we were spoilt for choice as to where to sit and enjoy the view each morning for breakfast
and in the evening after dinner.
Anghiari was about a 10 minute drive away and there were plenty of restaurants and pizzerias to try out. Truly lovely. We are already
planning the next trip.
