The small town of Dégagnac is on the border of the départments of Lot and the Dordogne. It is between the towns of Domme, Salviac and Gourdon on the D673 road.

You can enjoy walking, cycling, canoeing, riding and more in the surrounding area.

The historic, medieval towns of Rocamadour, St. Cirq-la-Popie and Sarlat are attractive and well worth a visit. You can also explore the world famous caves of Lascaux, Domme and Padirac. The Périgord is nearby. This wonderful region is said to have 'One thousand and one castles'. Visit as many as you can. And dont forget the numerous enchanting local markets, 'brocantes' and summer fetes.
