It has its own private terrace with superb sea views, a lovely garden at the back with bunganvillea, an olive tree, plants and outdoor dining area, sun loungers, private parking... There are 2 bathrooms (1 on suite), american kitchen.

Genau wie auf den Bildern! Herrlich!

Die Bilder hatten uns etwas misstrauisch gemacht: die Wohnung war einfach zu schön um wahr zu sein. Und für den Preis! Aber die Anzahlung war nicht hoch, so dass wir es gewagt haben. Und es sollte unser Schaden nicht sein!

Die Kommunikation mit den Verwaltern war prima, wir bekamen eine Telefonnummer, bei der wir uns bei der Ankunft in Port de Soller melden sollten. Wir wurden am Kreisverkehr empfangen und zur Wohnung begleitet, die wir sonst womöglich nicht direkt gefunden hätten. Und siehe da: alles genau wie auf den Bldern! Und eine Flasche Wein und ein Korb Orangen stand auch bereit.

Die Einrichtung is modern und von guter Qualität. Die Zimmer sind hell und geräumig. Die Duschen in den Badezimmern überzeugen mit ordentlichem Wasserdruck und ausreichend warmen Wasser. Der Balkon ist das absolute Highlight: ab dem frühen Nachmittag sitzt man in der Sonne (Beobachtung von April) und genießt diesen absolut genialen Ausblick. WLAN ist auch vorhanden, wenn auch nicht übermäßig schnell. Die Lage ist toll: nur ein paar Treppen herunter und die Straße hinab (keine 5 min) und man ist mitten auf der Promenade mit Strand, Shops und Restaurants jeder Preisklasse. Für abends empfiehlt sich ein Gang zum Hafen (rechtsrum) mit den vielen Bars. Aber keine Angst: Ballermannartige Zustände wird man hier nicht finden. Das Publikum ist sehr gesittet - viele Wanderer!

Einige kleine Mankos, die unseren Urlaub aber nicht groß gestört haben:
Die Küchenausstattung war etwas dürftig - etwas mehr von allem (vor allem Besteck) hätte es sein dürfen. Aber wir wollten sowieso keine komplizierten Menüs kochen.
Ein Bett im Kinderzimmer hatte keinen Lattenrost sondern einen Gitterrost, der bei Erwachsenen etwas arg durchhing. Aber für Kinder dürfte das kein Problem sein.

Alles in allem eine super Wohnung, die wir durchaus noch mal mieten würden.
