Family house in a relaxing atmosphere amidst the beautiful countryside of Cher. We are the original owners, this home has never been sold or transferred. The house includes a private wood, farm, two acres of private gardens and fields around the house, a pond and a pond with goldfish farm. The place is quiet and very relaxing. The wood is a provision for the many fireplaces in the house.

Cher is a French department named after the river of the same name. Cher once formed with the department of Indre province of Berry. It is now part of the Central Region and borders the departments of Indre, Loir-et-Cher, Loiret, Nièvre, Allier and Creuse. A mild climate, a bit aggressive terrain, water profusely helped a sparse settlement that occurs in many villages and hamlets still mostly inhabited today. It does not seem to be any particular name for the inhabitants of Cher, they are called, in reference to the former province of Berry from which the department, the Berrichons.
