Great Stay- Nice location

The property worked very well for an extended family of 7, 4 adults and 3 teen aged girls. The location within one block of the Ravenscourt Tube Sation was fantastic. Easy access to downtown London and in and out of Heathrow. The outside deck area was good for us, as we had great weather. Fantastic take out Greek food and a nice Japanese restaraunt within one block. Nice pubs within about 6 blocks. Could use just a bit more seating in both the living room and deck.

Great place to visit London from

Lots of room when you're with 7, and our kids enyoyed the very large TV. The terace is large enough to acommodate 2 tables with chairs and we ate outside on the best day of our stay. We did not contact the owner at all, because there was no need to: everything you need to know was in the mail; no time wasting checking in or checking out. Their website I don't like, for it was unstable on my computer. But customer service via mail is quick and effective and our deposit was returned within 2 days. Might book again here.

Nice, but a couple things to know.

The flat is nice and clean, but there were some issues for our group. Many of which the management company took care of ASAP, but still some we weren't expecting. For example the down stairs bathroom toilet was not level and the shower head had be hand held in order to not get water ALL over the floor. And one of the upstairs bathroom had an odor from lack of use. The smell was gone after a few days, but wasn't fun the first two days. Families traveling with children should know there are two flights of stairs. But you should also note the backyard is nice and a perfect place for kids to let off energy. Location is awesome; tube is truly one minuet away and King St. has TONS of restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The street was a bit loud at times, but never kept us or our children awake. I do suggest this flat and the company, the bathrooms just left a lot to be desired. Based on the pictures I was expecting a more open floor plan and less stairs. The property was clean. The company did provide excellent customer service (they fixed what was fixable) but the bathrooms need an overhaul. I'm pretty sure I would recommend this property, but I would warn folks about the bathrooms. The near by grocery store, Sainsbury, was great for stocking the fridge. I do wish there had been more food staples on hand, i.e. we had to buy salt and pepper:( There are too many restaurants to name; we ate Thai, Pizza and Chinese while there, all were wonderful.

Local bars are plentiful and a visit to the traditional English pubs on the banks of the Thames is particularly recommended. A multi-screen cinema and the famous Lyric theatre will take care of all your cultural needs.

To the north is Shepherd's Bush with its fabulous new Westfield Mall, the largest urban shopping centre in Europe with 265 stores (including an entire Designer 'village'), 50 restaurants, leisure facilities and multiplex cinema.
