We are located on the edge of the western shore of Cayuga lake, 20 miles south of historic Seneca Falls, and 25 miles north of 'gorgeous' Ithaca, NY, where there are spectacular hiking trails among the gorges. The cottage itself has very few steps the shore and is on a quiet dead end street. Launch your boat at Dean's Cove NYS boat launch which is located just one mile north of our cottage.
We are nestled in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Trail. Far removed from the bustling streets of the city, wine lovers will find many of the most treasured winery destinations only a few minutes drive from our location.
You can also enjoy hiking the many gorges of Ithaca. Our favorite is Taughannock Falls Gorge. The drop of the falls is an incredible 215 feet (66 meters) , and is one of the highest east of the Rocky Mountains.
Your local shopping experience may include a visit to the many Amish shops in the area or a trip to the local Senaca Outlet mall or Bass Pro Outlet

Golf: There are many golf options around the Cayuga Lake area. Leading the way is Seneca Falls Country Club, 12 miles to the north on Route 89. SFCC is a semi private club that is open to the public weekdays and weekends.

Also to the south on the Cornell Campus is one to the first Robert Trent Jones courses in the world. Jones was a 1930 graduate of Cornell University and designed this on campus course. Truly a unique golfing opportunity.
