A superb base from which to commute or to explore central London. Accessed by steps leading to your own front door you will find solid oak flooring and quality furnishings throughout. On those nights when you want to stay in, enjoy cooking in the contemporary kitchen and dine alfresco in the fully lit, decked patio garden. Great stay

We had a wonderful stay in this flat. We only stayed for three days but Fleur's apartment felt like a home away from home. It was stylish, comfortable, clean. The pictures online were accurate and we did not have any trouble with transportation. There was great shopping on the strip leading to Sloane Square Station. Fleur provided lovely goodies upon our arrival! Definitely a plus! I would definitely stay here again when I visit London. Thank you, Fleur!

Lives up to the web site description. Clean, well maintained and equipped. Fleur very helpful. Regular buses to central London just minutes away. If you want them, good pubs and restaurants nearby but if you want to self cater good shopping is also convenient and kitchen facilities are very good.

Cozy, comfortable, and convenient

We regularly travel to London once or twice a year, and this was one of the nicest properties we've encountered. The booking process was seamless, and Fleur, the owner, was responsive throughout, and very accommodating. We arrived early in the morning on a Friday, well before check-in, and we were able to store our luggage with Fleur while the housekeeping staff was busy making the flat ready for our arrival. In the meantime, we spent an hour or so enjoying Westfield Park, having a nice breakfast in a local cafe, and browsing the local shops. (Stop by and visit with Jame Bly at John Bly Antiques in the Furniture and Arts Building at the corner of Tetcott Road and King's Road. He's a great storyteller!)

Fleur contacted us as soon as the flat was ready, and she was there to personally hand over the keys and show us around. The flat is lovely, with all of the advertised amenities, plus special extras such as fresh cut flowers and even a nice goodie basket with snacks and water and milk in the fridge in case we wanted to start our stay with a nice cuppa.

This is a garden flat, but the space is well laid out, and the windows throughout ensure lots of light. The location is very convenient, on a nice quiet side street, less than a five-minute walk to the King's Road and major bus lines, providing easy access to major shopping and tourist areas.

We would certainly stay here again.

Just Perfect

I enjoyed 12 wonderful days here just after New Year.

The listing really doesn't do the property justice. Fleur's flat is stylishly appointed but so warm and welcoming at the same time. A vase of fresh flowers greets you, adding to the ambience.

The flat is light, bright, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for short or extended stays.

There is a lovely garden area at the rear that would be great in the warmer months .

The property is perfectly located and a great base from which to explore London. Transport, restaurants and shops are a few minutes walk away.

Fleur is extremely helpful and knowledgeable but unobtrusive so her guests benefit from her experience while enjoying privacy during their stay.

I have stayed in similar London properties in recent years. I have enjoyed all the properties, but this one tops the list and represents such great value for money.

I highly recommend the property to others, I'm sure it will not disappoint. I'm already looking forward to my next stay in this delightful flat.

FANTASTIC 2 WEEKS IN LONDON

The flat at 47a was just perfectly positioned for easy access either walking or bus to all the main attractions, The flat was spotless and Fleur was a terrific host. She gave us plenty of good tourist advice as to places to see etc.

We would not hesitate recommending Fleur and the flat to any one else.

We bought Oyster cards for the Red buses and found them to go everywhere we wanted to see. Even had our own local pub just around the corner.

Fleur , we will have found memories of 47A for a long time.

This is a peaceful little corner of Chelsea but within minutes you can access all this vibrant city has to offer; here are just a few of things that may take your fancy.....

Go for a morning stroll in the lovely green space of Westfield Park, which is less than a minute away... Kick your heels through the leaves and you are directly on Kings Road with its legendary shops and nightlife. Alternatively start your day with a walk along the river, coffee in hand, at Chelsea Harbour. For the more energetic go running along the Embankment; the Thames is less than 5 mins away. Browse the amazing interior design and antiques shops for which this part of Chelsea is known. The Chelsea Design Centre is less than 5 mins walk.

There are great transport connections here - a 10 min bus ride will take you to Sloane Square tube station where you can pick up the District & Circle Line and access the West End, the City etc . Hop on the 325 bus and you are at High Street Kensington in 15 mins, Notting Hill in 20 mins.... The C3 bus on the other hand will get you to Earls Court in under 10 mins.

Imperial Wharf Station is less than 5 min away in just one stop you visit an exhibition at Olympia or change at Clapham Junction and catch one of the frequent connections to Gatwick Airport or Brighton. So the world really is your Oyster card!

The fashionista will not want to miss out on Sloane Street & Knightsbridge .... Harrods, Harvey Nichols and every Designer imaginable .....

And the football fan may visit close by Stamford Bridge.....

If history is more your thing, this is an excellent base from which to reach the Natural History Museum, the V&A ,The Tate Modern - all within 30 mins bus or tube.

If you love the theatre hop on a bus to cutting edge Royal Court on Sloane Square or black cab it to The West End.

The foodie will not be disappointed - Dotted around you you will find Gordon Ramsay's 3 Michelin star restaurant, The River Cafe, La Famiglia, Chutney Mary etc etc. Lovely Farmers Markets and great little Chelsea pubs offering cosy bar meals.

Live like a Londoner catch a water taxi to the city...see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament from the Water.

Or you can have a drink and read a book in the local pub.

And if you still have the energy hit the world famous nightspots in walking distance .... 606 club, 515, Embargo 59
