Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday villa in Addaia - Villa Casablanca
Unique location with private pools and steps down to the sea,15 mins from Mahon
A choice of two front-line villas, both with swimming pools, large sun terraces, indoor and outdoor dining tables, fully fitted open plan kitchens, comfortable sitting rooms, bedrooms, BBQ and just a step down into the sea from where you can swim and even hire boats to explore the lovely coastline of coves, bays and beaches. Villa Casablanca sleeps 6 people, with one master double en suite bedroom and two twin bedrooms, and Villa Favorita is rather larger and sleeps 10 - 11 in two double bedrooms, three twins and a small single bedroom. Usually the villas are rented individually but often if a large group of 10 or more friends or family want to go on holiday together then the villas can be rented together. This suits parties of up to 16 people, leaves a spare room for a cook / help and also ensures there is always somewhere peaceful to escape to !
The local family owned small supermarket sells fresh local foods and bakes off fresh bread all day and is jsut 500 metres away as are a few local bars, boutique shops, and restaurants. Mahon’s wonderful shops and restaurants are less than 20 minutes away in one direction and the sailing, skiing, diving, restaurants and shops in Fornells are just 15 mins away in the other direction.
The fabulous walking offered by the opening up of the Cami de Cavalls can now be joined just 200 metres the villa.
Vila Casablanca is equipped to enable our visitors to enjoy the changing seasons in Menorca. With a log burning stove in the open plan sitting room to take off the chill in the shoulder months and air conditioning in the bedrooms and sitting rooms in the summer.
Villa Favorita is the larger house. has a log fire in the snugger and fans in all the bedrooms, most of which have windows open right over the sea and so attract sea breezes in the evenings.

The Parker Family have been going to Menorca since the late 60's and during the 70's the opportunity came up to buy a bit of land on an undeveloped peninsula and build two family holiday homes beside each other. At the time these villas were virtually on their own and had no road leading down to them other than a rutted farm track. Now they are part of the lovely village of Addaia. Ever since then all our families return every year as none of us can resist the lure of living on the sea for a week or two.
Both Favorita and Casablanca are right on the sea and its extremely hard to find locations like this in the Mediterranean. The adventurous can hire boats which are moored on a jetty under the villa and run by Jose from his shop Nautica Puig , go scuba diving, sailing, water skiing, wake boarding, and explore the fabulous local bays, coves and private beaches whilst those looking for a quieter time can soak up the sunshine from the balconies whilst watching the boats come and go in the pretty Cala Moli Bay. With Bbq's on the terraces and a pool to jump into and wonderful views stretching out in front and over the bay there is never any real need to go anywhere else. However, if you want to walk there is a very pretty coastal path the wanders all along the seashore and for those looking for longer walks the famous Cami de Cavalls can be joined just a couple of hundred metres from the villa and the walks out to Favorix are exceptional.
Now Addaia has boutique shops, a few bars, restaurants, a very pretty Marina and a small family supermarket selling fresh local produce and baking fresh bread off all day.
Villa Casablanca is next to Villa Favorita which sleeps 10 and those wanting more rooms or perhaps to go with a second family can either rent Favorita on its own or rent both villas and sleep a total of 16.
At Favorita and Casablanca you are living right on the Med and you can simply walk down to the sea in seconds and either swim , boat , fish or just enjoy the scenery. Both villas are ones of the very first built and this is why they have pride of position in the whole bay, enjoying both day and evening sunshine .You can enjoy the sun during the day and the cooling sea breezes in the evening which means that unlike inland villas, the evenings are a comfortable temperature too. As Menorca is such a small island and the roads to Addaia are good it doesn't take long to get anywhere if you want to explore the island. Mahon, Fornells and Alaior are all less than 15 minutes away by car.
