Photos and Description of this 5 bedroom holiday farmhouse in Ash - Hop Farm
5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms farmhouse with fantastic indoor heated pool
Hop Farm is a charming farmhouse with all modern amenities, dated 1715 with its own full-size heated indoor/outdoor pool, 6 bedrooms and parking for 10 cars. Hop Farm is brilliantly situated in the back-of-beyond real farming country of East Kent, yet it is only 6 miles from the sea and for transport to the wider world – 1hour 45 minutes from London by car, 1 hour by hi-speed train, within 30 minutes of the Channel Tunnel and Ferry ports, and 45 minutes from Ashford for Eurostar (Paris or Brussels 2 hours). Hop Farm has a beautiful all-weather heated swimming pool, Wi-Fi, barbecue and table tennis. It is surrounded by fields and lovely Kent orchards which are ideal for country walks (including a great 30 minute walk to a child and dog-friendly pub with good food!), cycle rides down quiet country lanes. Places to visit nearby include historic Sandwich (with several golf courses including the world-famous Royal St Georges Golf Club) and Canterbury with its world-renowned Cathedral, city walls and designer shopping, Dover and Walmer Castles and the nearby vineyards for Kent wine.
Hop Farm offers accommodation for normally 10 persons. Extra guests up to a maximum of 14 are charged at a nominal rate of £35 per person per night for which they are provided with sleepover beds. Babies in arms are free of course.
Although we usually require a three night minimum stay, for those wishing to stay less nights, we have a 5pm to 5pm rate of £1000 for 10 persons with additional persons charged at £35 per person per night.

Vaughan Grylls purchased this farmhouse in 2012
Why Vaughan Grylls chose Ash
A charming country house with its own, exclusive use swimming pool, near the sea, within striking distance of London and the continent yet completely away from it all and with plenty of room and great country walks for humans and dogs.
What makes this farmhouse unique
An astonishing, exclusive pool.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Twelve of us from London celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving. We had a great time in the house - swimming in the pool, boules on the lawn.
Got a turkey from your great butchers, Chandler & Dunn who were very friendly and accommodating.
Went clay pigeon shooting at Greenfields Shooting Range....taken around by Gordon who was most patient and kindly - especially with the ladies!
Thank you very much to all at Hop Farm for a very comfortable and fun weekend!
