In this 3 floor spacious house its ideal to stay with your family or group of friends and experience Amsterdam.
Not only for the central location but also for its comfort. Everything you need is provided in this accommodation.
The house has a typical Amsterdam ambiance due to original features like the exposed wooden beams in the living room.
The house has its own entrance and the stairway leads you to the first floor.
On the first floor you can find the living room witch has an open and light atmosphere. The living room contains an open fully equipped kitchen with a big dining table and a living area with a comfortable lounge. In the lounge, you can watch television on the flat screen television but also, its nice to gaze through the windows. The windows view a typical Amsterdam street filled with little stores and you can see a lot of Amsterdam people passing by on their bikes.
The second floor contains a double bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom with bathtub and sink, and a separate toilet.
On the third floor, you can find the beautiful characteristic attic; witch is divided in two areas by a French sliding door with stained glass. One area contains a double bed and the other area contains 4 single beds. An ideal sleeping area for children or friends that prefer not sharing a bed.
Our stay at the "TRIPLE, HISTORIC DUTCH HOUSE IN AMSTERDAM" was wonderful. We were there over Christmas, so we saw all the holiday decorations and festivities that happen in the area. We found the rental far exceeded our expectations. It's central location made tourist travel easy. No car is necessary when you are in the middle of things.
Being centrally located, you hear the chimes from the Zuiderkerk located behind the apartment. There is a schedule of the times and the tunes they play posted at the church. Since we enjoyed the chimes, we found them a friendly familiar experience rather than an annoyance. There is some street noise from the busy thoroughfare the rental is located on, yet the higher the floor you sleep on, the less noise you hear.
We also felt safe enough at this location to take nightly walks. The streets are well lit and enjoyable for strolling.
Being a fan of history, staying in such an old historic home was a real treat. The interior is spacious. The top floor still has the old wooden beams often used in moving furniture.
The rental was clean, cozy, well-equipped and warm.
Marlon was accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. He gave us suggestions, answered questions and provided us with background stories that made our stay even more enjoyable. Even when we encountered some problems with the dryer, he responded promptly to our needs and took care of things. When he gave us the tour of the rental, he explained how to work everything we needed.
We would not hesitate to stay at this rental again. Although we were there several days, we feel like we only scratched the surface of the rich history and culture this city has to offer.
Ottima struttura con un bella sala e una bella cucina! Centrale e vicinissima a piazza Dam
comfortable, nice house to live in, very spacious, ideally located in the heart of Amsterdam. all the sights are within walking distance
We had a great stay in the apartment that is located on a boutique street just off all the more busy streets of area. Close to the neuwmarket square/castle which have local bars and restaurants to visit. There are two great coffee places either end of the street, which also serve amazing cakes and breakfast items!!
We enjoyed the apartment, it is very spacious. It is central and comfortable. And we liked the bells, you never knew when they rang and why.
More centrally located in Amsterdam is almost impossible. Neighboring the ‘Zuiderkerk’, the oldest church of Amsterdam, you are just a 5-minute walk away from the Central Station. More over, you are in the middle of all the things that make Amsterdam so exceptional.
In your street you can find a lot of vintage stores, coffeehouses, coffeeshops, and various restaurants that serve food until late at night.
But also, you are just a minute away from Dam Square, where you can find the famous shopping street called the Kalverstreet. Here you can find more well-known stores and warehouses.
Furthermore you have the illustrious neighborhood witch is called The Red Light District around the corner. The Red Light District is famous for its sex shops and strip clubs but it has acquired an interest beyond these sexual themes. Nowadays Amsterdam is developing the neighborhood to a more artistic and sophisticated level. Witch is kind of interesting to see.
Since Amsterdam is relatively small, everything is on a walking distance. So if you’ld like to see other famous squares such as the Leidse Square or Rembrandsquare, witch are filled with entertainment, bars and nightclubs, they are just a 10 to 15 minute walk.
Or also other neighborhoods witch are worthy to see like the Jordaan are nearby.
The Jordaan has a high concentration of inner courtyards. Its many typical streets make the Jordaan a charming area to wonder about. Filled with many little shops, ‘De negen straatjes’ (the nine streets) are particularly noteworthy. These small streets, that cross some of the inner city canals, are crowded with authentic coffee bars, vintage and designer shops, and above all inspiring restaurants.
The area also harbors some small musea, like the Anne Frank house and there are various markets for foods, farmer products and textile on almost daily bases. The famous flea market on the Westerstreet takes place on Mondays and Saturdays.
Visiting other famous areas in and around the center of Amsterdam should not be too much of a problem. Due to the city’s compact nature spots like the Museum, Rembrandt and Leidsche square, as is the Vondelpark, are just a twenty minute walk away.
If you are not that fond of walking public transport is provided all around this location. For instance you are just a couple of meters away from the metro station and furthermore you are surrounded by diverse tram stops that can lead you to different areas of the city.
