Guestbook comments from the owner
This cottage is compact but beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a stay including free wi-fi. A big squishy sofa with log burner makes for cosy nights in, whilst the lovely garden with outdoor furniture meant we could enjoy the sunshine in the day and eat meals outside. The beds are very comfortable and the cottage is tucked away but just minutes from the local amenities. These include a post office, convenience store, fish & chip shop and a lovely pub at the end of the road, The Fisherman's Return, that serves great food! The only thing on the downside I can mention (and this is not a complaint), is the stairs in the cottage are pretty steep and probably not ideal for those with fellow guests and pets (like our old boy) whose legs aren't in the best nick!
Most importantly though, the cottage is literally five minutes walk to the gorgeous sandy beach. We took our dog to swim in the sea each day... delightful! There is a nice cafe at the beach serving drinks and lovely home-cooked food.
It’s also a good location from which to explore other parts of the coast too (we went to Cromer for the day).
