Situated next to the spectacular Seville Cathedral, this beautiful two bedroom apartment boasts one of the best locations in the whole city. Located on the edge of the city´s old Jewish quarter, Santa Cruz, the surrounding area is bursting with beautiful Gothic and Mudejar churches and traditional Andalucian buildings. Just taking a leisurely stroll through its narrow streets will reveal some of the city´s hidden treasures. As well as being close to many shops, services and monuments, this property is also just a short walk to a number of the many large and popular parks in Seville, including the royal gardens of the famous Alcázar. On Sunday mornings the nearby Alameda de Hércules is transformed into a popular and bustling market, where you can buy everything from the delicious local cuisine to traditional Andalucian handicrafts. This duplex apartment is part of a quintessentially Andalucian patio-style building. Whilst it has been recently renovated to the very highest standard, the property has kept its original façade, offering guests the perfect blend of the traditional and the modern. Bright and spacious, the apartment is the perfect option for anyone looking for a true taste of luxury and style in the very centre of one of Spain´s most exciting cities. In keeping with a more traditional layout, the property offers guests separate sitting, kitchen and dining areas, each one decorated and furnished to high standard of comfort and style. On the first floor you can find the living room, kitchen and dining room, as well as a double bedroom complete with en-suite. The bright, fully-equipped kitchen also features an extra dining area, perfect for breakfast or a light evening meal. On the second floor you can find the breathtaking master bedroom, which boasts a large double bathroom and fully-equipped walk-in wardrobe. From the polished hardwood floor to the luxurious soft furnishings in the bedrooms, no expense has been spared in this elegant property. Duplex situated on the first floor of the building: Floor (110 m2): Entrance is through the hall leading to a spacious living area equipped with a two-seater and a three-seater sofa placed in L, two easy chairs and coffee table with open fire place. Separate dining area equipped with square wood dining table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is accessed from the dining area or the living room with a central isle with a work bench and second sink. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, gas hob, oven and dishwasher and has a separate area with washing machine and drier. The second bedrooms is situated at the entrance of the apartment and has a queen sized bed (1.50m x 2.00m), built in cupboards and en suite bathroom with bathtub. The master bedroom is upstairs: second floor (60m2): access by stairs from living room. The bedroom has two beds (0.80m x 2.00m) pushed together, both with individual electric remote control adjustable head and foot sections, walk in large dresser, work area with desk and en suite bathroom with hydro massage bathtub and separate shower.
We absolutely adored this beautiful apartment. It was everything and more that we could want. It is furnished beautifully and comfortably.
Every amenity and modern convenience was available to us, the washer/dryer, good wifi, plenty of hot water for showers and baths. It is in the perfect area, near the historic Cathedral and Santa Cruz area but in a quiet square, away from the hustle-bustle and noise. We slept so well. The kitchen was a special gathering spot each morning for our coffee and planning for the day. I like to cook and made several nice meals. We lingered in the lovely dining room until very late in the evenings. We all decided that we could actually live
in this gorgeous apartment. It truly was a home away from our home. This is a 5 star accommodation!! We highly, highly recommend it.
From the first moment of contact with Spain Select I was impressed by their service, the booking itself was easy and they very promptly and helpfully answered all of our questions about transportation etc.
Magdalena met us at the house and was very efficient and knowledgable, the house itself was as shown on the website. The photos show the house exactly. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable, we chose it because we were staying in Seville for two weeks and we wanted plenty of space. The house is equipped with everything you need and more.. Magdalena also kindly arranged for the bed etc to be changed in the middle of our trip and the housekeeper did a lovely job. We were there for two weeks but we could happily have stayed longer.
The location is perfect ,you can easily walk to all the tourist sights in Seville and it is in a very quiet little street just two minutes away from the main area of bars etc. and is close to supermarkets, bakers etc So it has all the convenience of being near all the popular areas but it is very peaceful as well.
Seville itself was great surprise, it is a beautiful city and if you like to walk there are miles of beautiful walks in the city, along the river etc. If you like nightlife and shopping the city has that in abundance. The food is great everywhere ( get directions to the fried fish shop in the Juderia) and we found the people charming. The historical area is very nice too with lots to see. ( We just missed Game Of Thrones being filmed in the Alcazar!)
We travelled by train from Malaga airport as we were lazy and didn't want the hassle of a car. I can recommend this too as you don't need a car to see the city. The train links from Malaga airport were painless, we would do that again as it was so relaxing just wandering about without worrying about parking etc.
I really can't recommend this house and Spain Select enough, we are already booked into another of their rentals in a different city later this year and my husband is talking about going back to Seville in the spring.
