With views of the centuries-old Alhambra palace and the soaring peaks of the Sierra Nevada, this very special property is one of the most unique in Granada. Furnished and decorated with the utmost care by the owner, this beautiful house is an effortless blend of classical Andalucian style and modern comforts and conveniences. Split over three levels, it is at once spacious and intimate. The open-plan living and dining room is bright and welcoming, and has been furnished in a discrete traditional style with original Andalucian furnishings and decoration. Wooden beams, tiled flooring, quality wooden furniture and an original fireplace make this a wonderful space to relax or enjoy a meal. The kitchen is in keeping with the classic Spanish style but has been fully-equipped with all modern appliances and everything guests may need during their stay. Each of the bedrooms has been individually decorated. The two double bedrooms offer breathtaking views of the Alhambra, the master bedroom also boasting a small terrace, perfect for enjoying breakfast or an after-dinner drink. The bathrooms are bright and elegant, with local tiles and fittings. The exterior of the property is equally charming, with a front garden complete with small swimming pool, fish pond and fountain and dining area. The roof-top terrace is a real highlight – with unbeatable views to the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada, guests can enjoy an al-fresco meal with a difference. The house has an underground garage, or alternatively guests can make use of the bus that stops almost on the doorstep of the house, and which will take them directly to the heart of the city. The house is located in the Albaycin, one of the oldest and undoubtedly most atmospheric parts of the city. With typical white-washed Andalucian houses, flower-filled patios and tiny tabernas, this quintessential Granada barrio clambers up the hill overlooking the Alhambra. The Mirador de San Nicolas at the very top of the hill is the place to go in the early evening as the sun sets spectacularly over the Alhambra. The Albaycin is tranquil and quiet, and gives visitors a unique the opportunity to soak up the city’s history and charm. House: 250m2 Grounds: 480m2. The house has 3 levels and is accessed from the top and going down 2 flights of steps. Access is through the hall with the twin bedroom on the left (0.90m x 1.90m). From the hall, you have stairs leading down to the lower level: living room, dining room and kitchen are on this level. The living area has three-seater sofa and two easy chairs with coffee table in the center and open fireplace. Flat screen TV on the wall. The dining area has tables and chairs to seat 8. The kitchen is separate and is fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher. The fridge and freezer are situated in the pantry, accessed from the kitchen. The outdoor garden can be accesses from the living area and from the kitchen. On the ground level there is a bathroom with a bathtub. Right of the hall level, up two steps, we have two double bedrooms (1.40m x 1.90m) with en suite bathrooms with bathtubs. Both of these bedrooms have views of La Alhambra and one of them has a small terrace with a table and two chairs. All bedrooms have fitted cupboards. On the third level we have the office space with desk and book space, views of the Alhambra and door to access the rooftop terrace. Grounds: the front garden has a private pool 4m x 5m, table and chairs to seat 6 people and a fish pond with gold fish. Rooftop terrace has table and chairs to seat 6 people.

Amazing View of Alhambra

We were a party of six adults and found this property to be a true find. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and shown around by Miguel the owner. He had provided fruit, wine and breakfast pastries. The property is beautiful and pristine with everything you could possibly need and lots of extras like ironed sheets, down comforters and fluffy bath robes.

The view of the Alhambra from the deck is indescribable. The house is located in the Albaycin area, which is very charming and very convenient to the city center with buses leaving from the front gate every 10 minutes or a short cab ride.

The is truly a Five Star property and we would highly recommend staying here for a visit to Granada.

Exceptional and outstanding!

Five of us shared this beautiful home for four nights and it was our favorite part of our Spanish vacation. The view from the rooftop terrace of Alhambra and Generalife is actually better than pictured and every detail of the home is impressive. The owner, Miguel was exceedingly helpful - even coming to give us an escort to the villa on his motorcycle (our GPS in the car was broken). There were fruits, coffee and other basic necessities waiting for us in the kitchen, which was much appreciated since we arrived late in the day. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, visiting cafes and restaurants. Everything about Granada was lovely and we can't wait to return. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Wonderful Villa in Granada with Stunning View

We stayed 3 nights at this villa. It has gorgeous and the view of the Alhambra from the balcony which is as good, or better than the one in the pictures. The villa is above the city center. It's about a 8 euro cab ride or a 15 minute walk uphill. The high end restaurants in the city all seemed to be very close to the villa and also well above the city center.

The owner of the Villa Miguel was very helpful and nice. He checked us in and showed us around the villa. He also arranged a taxi to take us to the train station when we left. He even put some fruit and muffins in the kitchen to welcome us. Dealing with him and Spain Select (we rented another apartment in Madrid through them as well) was great.

I would consider it a 5 star property. The only downside is the 3rd bedroom does not have AC and it can obviously be hot in Granada in the summer. The pool looked nice, though we did not swim. The villa was very spacious and luxurious. I would highly recommend the villa.

Magical Honeymoon
