This is a brand new two bedroom apartment. Built on the ground floor of a much loved and luxurious property in a very cool location in Dublin. It is an oasis of calm but when you step outside you are in the centre of everything. It is a wonderful location from which to explore Dublin at day and at night. I bought this mews 19 years ago.it has been recently refurbished and done to a standard of luxury throughout. The two storeyed mews building comprises of two apartments. This apartment has two bedrooms and has great outdoor space. The apartment is 850 square feet and has a large open plan living and and dining/ kitchen area.. There are two bedrooms with two twin beds in each. There are two shower rooms. One of the bathrooms is en-suite. The beds are very high quality. There is a television in each bedroom. These televisions have 5 channels, mostly Irish channels. There is TV in the living room which has the full Sky package with international, sports and movies. There is also a DVD player for European DVDs and an iPod/CD player. There is WiFi throughout the apartment.
The apartment has the original stone walls and has lots of character and is very cosy. The location is right in the centre of Georgian Dublin. It is a strictly no smoking property but smoking is permitted outside. We are interested in renting to mature, responsible people who will respect our property and be considerate of other guests. We rented both the 3 bedroom unit and the 2 bedroom in this wonderful Mews building. We were in Dublin for a family celebration -- and simply could not have wished for more spectacular accommodations. As other reviewers have commented, the apartments are outfitted with the very 'top of the line' everything! The mix of an old building with full character and sleek, modern facilities is the perfect match. To add to the wonderful layout, Mairead was so very thoughtful. She knew we were celebrating a milestone birthday, so we arrived to a lovely bouquet of flowers and a personal birthday card. Such a lovely welcoming gesture. We had Paul pick us up at the airport, and his warm welcome started the weekend on a great stride. Unfortunately there were too many in our group to be able to use his services except for airport transfers, but I would recommend his services to anyone who wants a personalized tour of Dublin. My family's stay at Chez 2 was excellent. It is a beautifully and thoughtfully appointed apartment that is spacious, very comfortable and brilliantly located in central Dublin. The listing description was completely accurate. I highly recommend the apartment to anyone contemplating a stay in Dublin and would have no hesitation booking it again when I next return. I cannot rave enough about this property! The pictures do not do it justice, It is a lot bigger in person. It was perfect for myself,my husband and our two daughters. Everything was within walking distance. The apartment is a 10 minute walk to the top of Grafton street! There was a supermarket a block from the apartment as well as a Spar (convenience store) across the street from us. The apartment itself is pure luxury and has absolutely everything you could possibly need! I loved that it had a washer and dryer and hair dryers in each room. Also the fact that the apartment had supplies such as detergent,fabric softener,dish washing detergent,hand soap and shower gel ( molten brown brand too!) really helped. The owners go above and beyond to insure you have a comfortable stay. I have never felt so at home in a rental before and will absolutely be back ,as well as recommending to friends traveling to Dublin in the future. Also must comment on the driver Paul. So unbelievably helpful and friendly. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Definitely use his services if you rent this property.
The apartment was wonderful! It was very comfortable, beautifully maintained, and the location was a perfect walking distance to sites of interest. We had a lovely time and are looking forward to our next visit!
The apartment exceeded expectations, beautiful decor and everything needed for a relaxing stay in beautiful Dublin. All arrangements were smoothly executed- Paul collected us from the airport- showed us the flat, there was a pot of coffee on the go and a bottle of proseco in the fridge. Great restaurant recommendation from the owner. All in all a brilliant weekend- close to Trinity College where our daughter was giving a paper at a conference- we could easily walk there. We will be back!
We were delighted to arrive at Lad Lane for our three day stay in Dublin. The location could not have been better and the flat was extremely charming. Clean, well appointed, comfortable beds. Perfect for a little get away or for a business trip which we were on. We plan on reserving our spot for next year. It was very helpful to have someone meet us at the airport and take care of our every need. Paul was a delight!
There were 4 people in our party. The rooms were a good size, bedding was beyond comfortable, closet space was ample. Lovely home in a quiet yet close to everything setting. We walked everywhere and could catch a cab without issue. Paul (Driver for the home) was accommodating, informative and a delight to chat with. The owner was also attentive and responsive. We would give 10 stars if we could!
This mews building is set in the heart of Georgian Dublin. There are two apartments in this building , a three bedroom and a two bedroom. It was built in 1792 and was originally the stables of one of the great houses in Fitzwilliam Square. It is within short walking distance of great restaurants, pubs, the Shelbourne and the Merrion Hotels and Grafton Street. It is very close to the National Art Gallery and Government buildings. Ireland’s finest Michelin star restaurants are all within easy walking distance. While the area is quiet, there is a real sense of being in the centre of everything. There are lovely walks along the canal and in the parks of Merrion Square and St Stephens Green.

We prefer to let by the week but understand that some want shorter stays. We do not take short term/weekend bookings more than a month in advance. We like to let to family groups and mature adults.
For weekly rates, a deposit of 25% is required and the balance is paid 60 days before arrival.
There is a €25 charge/guest above 4 guests.
