Our stone house in Pitsidia called "O ILIOS". It lies on the south coast of Crete, 65 km below Heraklion was built 10 years ago by a local builder. It therefore has very specific characteristics Cretan. The walls are 40 cm thick, and this is both in summer and winter very pleasant.
Pitsidia is an original Cretan village with stunning views of the Mount Ida. Until May you see the snow on the mountain tops, which are 2400 meters high.
The beach is 2 km away and walk, cycle, scootert or drive there by car to. It is a broad, clean beach and is very quiet. In southern Crete is about 9 months of summer.

Pitsidia is a small traditional Cretan village near Matala on the south coast of Crete. The accommodations and restaurants are of good quality, and the people are very friendly.
