A walk through Pitsidia puts you in the first place on the "platia". Here you can between the cafe / restaurants / shops sit on one of the terraces, and a cool drink order with some mezes (savory snacks).
You will probably pass the "supermarket" of Kostas. Here they sell absolutely everything. And the two are such nice Pitsidianen.
Further on you pass the church that evening beautifully lit.

Phaistos is situated in the south-central Crete and will certainly be appreciated by those who love history. You can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view as it is located on a hilltop. On the other side is the Agia Triada excavation. You can buy a combined ticket for both sites. Also, when you find an excavation where Komosstrand still being worked on, but it is not (yet) to visit. Would you look a little further away than on the road to Heraklion, close to Agia Deka, Gortyn, a Roman settlement, very interesting. You learn that the emancipation in antiquity was already well advanced. And then of course the main excavation of Crete, Knossos, south of Heraklion.
