3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths + 1 W.C with sea glimpse and an unbeatable location

With all the comforts of a 5* Hotel and an unbeatable location in the heart of Whitstable, this is the perfect apartment for your seaside stay. The apartment is in a beautiful Eighteenth century building and has two double bedrooms and one single bedroom. An extra cot is available to further accommodate families.

SLEEPING

The master bedroom has a designer King-sized Erdem bed and a large en-suite bathroom with extra-large bath and walk-in shower. The second double bedroom is tastefully furnished with vintage lamps, apple-box side tables and suitcases fashioned into a quirky chest of drawers. The third single bedroom is a small Victorian antique sleigh bed that would suit a child or adult. There is an antique steamer trunked packed full of classic board games and beanbags for lounging in comfort.

Guests can arrange to have access to a secluded beach hut on the seat front.

LIVING

The open-plan living/dining room is light and airy with a large corner sofa. There is a large television with DVD player and FreeSat. The living room also boasts a classic book library and a wide selection of up-to-date DVDs. There is a selection of throws and quilts for cozy nights in and a stylish tripod lamp to light up your reading.

The oak dining table seats 6 and the kitchen/diner is a beautiful mix of vintage pieces with up-to-the-minute modern appliances. There is an oven, microwave, induction hobs and quality dinner service and tableware.

The apartment also has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble-dryer, fully working fire sprinkler system, plentiful beach towels.

There is a decked outside area with vintage deck chairs and an outside dining table and chairs. From the roof terrace there is a sea glimpse towards the Isle of Sheppey.

Stunning (and spotless) apartment in fantastic location! We had a great time staying at the Captains View. We have a 5 month old baby and the owners set up for him really well too. Would definitely recommend for a short relaxing break.

A wonderful apartment in a great location

The apartment is actually much more spacious than it appears in the photographs. We had two young children with us, so they were well catered for with a big box of toys, some DVDs and plenty of space to roam around in. We also had enough bathrooms to spread out - so could accommodate two families staying together quite comfortably.
The apartment is luxurious and well fitted. We had everything we needed to cater for a family of four (although we discovered the fish and chips in Whitstable are also excellent!)
We were right on the main street and couldn't have asked for a better location. The hosts were on hand to offer advice about how to hire bikes etc. but there is also plenty of information available in the flat if you prefer to figure things out for yourselves.
Everything was clean, in immaculate condition and thoughtfully provided.
This is a great place to say and we would certainly stay here again if we were ever in the area. I would recommend it unreservedly.

I stayed at Captains View last weekend with 2 girlfriends- WOW. We were so pleasantly surprised by the standard of this gorgeous apartment. Our stay was improved by the superb attention to care and detail paid by the owners, we enjoyed 'sweet treats' and a welcome visit from Chris on arrival, who offered useful help and advice. The location is perfect- right on Harbour St near all the lovely shops, restaurants and just a 2 minute walk from the sea. However, the apartment itself is so inviting and cosy, it is difficult to leave to explore the local area! When we did manage it- we enjoyed a spectacular meal at nearby restaurant Samphire, a 3.5 hour round-trip walk to Herne Bay, fish and chips to die for, cosy pub drinks- we honestly couldn't have wanted for anything else!
Even if I tried, I could not fault this place and I cannot wait to return in the spring/summer. Thank you, thank you!

Great apartment in a great location

This is a well presented apartment with a high quality feel. Little touches to make you feel welcome were also appreciated - Christmas tree with gift underneath and cupcakes. Location could not be any more central - right on the High Street giving access to the shops, restaurants and the beach. Only drawback was parking ( I'm an Aussie so used to having parking closer!) and I was surprised there was no freezer (maybe another Aussie thing?) had a great stay -so thank you.

What a gem

Wow- i really can't describe how lovely The Captains View is. The whole place is beautifully decorated & has a very relaxed feel to it. Was nice that Chris popped over on the day of our arrival to let us know where they were if any problems & to recommend places to visit.
The flat is so well situated in the middle of Whitstable especially for pubs, restaurants & a bit of shopping.
Would definately recommend it to frineds & family & the freshly baked rock cakes where an added bonus.
