Luxury, spacious 3 bed villa in superb location within Adonis Village at the 5 star Aphrodite Hills resort, Paphos. The villa is located on the edge of the western ravine, and it is only 5 minutes walk to the main resort facilities such as the restaurants, bars, golf, tennis and spa. Many other villages in the resort involve a long walk or a drive to get to the facilities. The communal pool is only 30 seconds away, but completely hidden and child-safe as it is up a flight of steps.
Wifi is available within the property for a small extra charge.
The villa ideal for couples, families or groups. The three bedrooms are spacious - two doubles (with king size beds) and one twin. Two of the bedrooms can easily accommodate an extra bed or cot, and two of the bedrooms have direct access to the terrace.

There is a second terrace on the lower floor, with steps down to a third terrace which leads onto a small garden planted with mature shrubs. There are fantastic views over the ravine and down to the Mediterranean sea.

All 3 Bedrooms are large and have extensive wardrobe and drawer space. Both bathrooms have powerful showers. There is air conditioning and heating in every room. The communal pool is within 50m but is unobtrusive as it is up a flight of steps, so can’t actually be seen from the villa.

The Intercontinental Hotel: The Intercontinental Aphrodite Hills Resort Hotel offers an array of dining opportunities in the finest choice of settings, from an informal outdoor poolside grill to an exclusive indoor fine dining experience. The hotel's many bars equally tempt guests from the comforts of lounging indoors to the elegance of sipping champagne out on the deck, looking out at the sunset over the Mediterranean. There are outdoor tennis courts and an adult games room housing a billiard table. The hotel features a 151-square-metre heated indoor / outdoor pool that can be enjoyed throughout the winter and summer months. Contemporary and elegant, the Hotel is set in an area steeped in culture, mythology and tradition. It is a haven for devotees of luxury and comfort, promising to impress even the most discerning guests. The Resort also has a charming chapel for weddings and christenings.
The Retreat Spa and Wellness Centre: Voted the world’s third best resort spa by Homes Overseas Magazine, The Retreat was used by the British Olympic Team during their preparation for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Set in fragrant gardens with refreshing water features, a heated swimming pool and hydro pools overlooking the Mediterranean. The Retreat takes its architectural inspiration from the great baths of Ancient Greece and Rome. At the heart of the Spa, stone colonnades run around a central courtyard, creating an authentic location for the theme. This suite of progressively warmer rooms and pools, tempered by cooling showers and a frigidarium, recreates the classic Roman bathing ritual to detoxify the system, stimulate the circulation and refresh the body. The Retreat also hosts the tennis academy where guests can enjoy playing & receive professional tuition and coaching. For the more active guests, there is a Cybex equipped gym with an extensive range of cardio and strength training equipment.
Cyprus’ climate makes it the perfect holiday villa rental location:
Long hot summers and short mild winters make Cyprus the perfect holiday destination, while the island's long history provides plenty of fascinating sites of interest for visitors to explore. An island of contrasts, the countryside of Cyprus extends from beautiful beaches to the splendour of the Troodos mountain range and the stunning Akamas National Park. The countryside is dotted with small villages where time seems to have stood still and old men sit outside coffee shops watching the world go by. You might even see a donkey tethered nearby. Head for the coast and you'll soon discover why Cyprus is one of the Europe's leading holiday destinations. Stunning beaches and excellent facilities make for a memorable vacation and few people can resist the temptation to dive into the cool blue of the Mediterranean. The Cypriot people are very outgoing and hospitable. Stop in any village and don't be surprised if you are invited to someone's house for coffee.

About Stephen McBurney

Stephen McBurney purchased this villa in 2013
Why Stephen McBurney chose Aphrodite Hills
After holidaying on the resort in another nearby villa, we found it worked perfectly for us as a family and clearly had everything we needed to keep children and adults happy for many years to come. We viewed this property and immediately knew it was the one for us, due to its spaciousness, great location and views.
What makes this villa unique
The villa is spacious and brilliantly located, just a few steps from a great communal pool (that rarely gets busy even in peak season). It's only a short walk (5 mins) to all the resort facilities, which was important for us as we didn't want to have to drive down to the pubs or restaurants.
We've also explored lots of the local restaurants and can provide some recommendations if desired.
Guestbook comments from the owner
This is the second time we have stayed in the property and it really is a home from home. Chris's use and replace policy works so well. None of that usual scrambling aorund for things when you first arrive as it's all there. Just top up as you use things. A useful welcome pack as well. All good communication pre holiday and a local agent is on hand if needed. There's also loads of information about the area to be found in an extensive folder, which if you're a first timer is really helpful and had clearly been updated since our previous visit. We've no hesitation at all in recommending this property and more likely than not will return.
