Central luxury apartment next to the ski lifts in the Serre Chevalier Valley with awesome panoramic views of the mountains, and the night sky. Our place is a 3 bedroom open plan apartment with a professional kitchen sleeping 9 in the heart of town close to ski lifts, restos, shops,and the ski slopes. Indoor secure parking is at 100m but there is also a loading space. This central location allows you to leave the car all week, and for your ski group to be independent and go skiing when they want, benefit from all the activities that are close by, and get home easily from bars, restaurants, supermarket (don't worry if you forget the milk) , casino and nightclub. If someone doesn't ski they are perfectly placed to enjoy the town without being secluded. Briancon is probably THE most sunny ski resort in France and our giant picture windows and huge terraces are perfect to enjoy the snow, as well as making a snowman.

The apartment is brand new and been built with all the mod cons in mind - wood burner, underfloor heating, towel heaters, comfy matresses, crisp linen and towels, wooden floors, amazing wooden sun deck, terraces, 2 ensuite bathrooms, nespresso machine, blender, washer/dryer, high speed internet wifi, UK&French satellite TV, surround sound, bluetooth sound system. We have also put a 300 litre water tank in so you will not have cold showers.

Love to ski in the Serre Chevalier Valley with 220 km of pistes and great off piste descents and lots of tree runs. Briancon and the Serre Chevalier Valley offers so much for both sporting enthusiasts, and those who just want to relax. Sunshine 300 days a year makes Briancon one of the most sunny resorts in France - nice to have sun on your face.

Great apartment for a ski trip: spacious common area , bedrooms on a smaller size but large enough, kitchen well equippted.

The apartment is very close to gondola, restaurants, shops and the old town of Briancon.

Perfect Pad

My family of five stayed in this lovely apartment in this beautiful town for a week.

We were very comfortable in this well located and well maintained property.

It was very well equipped and was furnished to a high standard.

There are all amenities close by and the ski lifts are an easy walk away.

The kids loved the sky television and playstation.

Hannah , who was managing the property, was lovely. She was extremely helpful regarding local facilities and attractions. We had a great meal out at 'La Gavorche' in the old town. The old town is an amazing place to visit. It is incredibly well preserved.

We would definitely recommend this property.

Emplacement idéal pour les amateurs de skis. Mais je suis déçu par le logement car, contrairement à la publicité il n'y a pas de cheminée dans l'appartement; et pourtant le choix de cet appartement est en grande parti du à la photo d'une cheminée. Ensuite dans une des chambres le chauffage ne fonctionne pas. Par ailleurs la propreté, à notre arrivée, n'était pas au rendez-vous. Et le matériel de cuisine est vieillissant en particulier le lave vaisselle. Dans ma chambre une porte fenêtre tient fermer seulement par un penne qui s'encastre dans le mur, donc le bruit de la rue, surtout à 6H00 du matin dans un centre ville, pénètre sans problème et le chauffage doit rester toute la nuit à son maximum .

Owner's Response: Nous tenions tout d’abord à nous excuser si votre séjour n’a pas été aussi agréable que vous le souhaitiez ; il semble cependant qu’il y ait eu un malentendu sur la cheminée que vous avez du voir sur les photos d’accueil (celles-ci comprennent les deux appartements que nous louons). Vous avez loué l’appartement « Buddha », qui contrairement à notre autre appartement n’est effectivement pas équipé de cheminée. Nous nous excusons sincèrement de la confusion, bien que ni sur la galerie photo de « Buddha », ni sur la description de l’appartement nous ne parlions ou mettons en avant la présence d’une cheminée dans cet appartement. Il semblerait réellement qu’il y ait eu méprise car votre commentaire figure sur l’appartement « Klimt » pas « Buddha », Buddha étant celui que vous avez loué ! Nous tenions à informer notre clientèle qu’une cheminée au bioéthanol y sera très prochainement installée, les deux appartements seront donc maintenant équipés de points cheminés. Concernant le chauffage de votre chambre, nous nous excusons encore pour ce désagrément, vous l’avez notifié au manager de l’appartement qui’ s’est offert de venir réparer la panne immédiatement, mais vous lui avez fait savoir que cela n’était pas nécessaire ; la panne était en fait un court circuit, elle a été réparée le jour de votre départ. Enfin concernant la porte fenêtre, elle n’aurait jamais due être ouverte, et il semblerait qu’un client avant vous l’ait malgré tout manipulée à l’aide d’un outil que nous ne connaissons pas ; celle-ci a également été réparée dès votre départ. Une fois encore nous sommes sincèrement désolée que votre expérience n’aie pas été aussi heureuse que vous l’espériez – et tenions à ce que vous sachiez que vous êtres les bienvenus si vous désirez revenir cet été ou l’hiver prochain (nous vous offrirons dans ce cas une réduction de 15% sur votre location). Great location & good facilities

We have used this spacious apartment with 4 persons during a 1wk ski holiday. The location is great, close to the Prorel ski gondola and close to shops (bakery!) and bars. The old town which has some nice restaurants is within walking distance as well. Plus, the apartment has a nice flavor of the country's 'culture de bricolage' :)

Pro's: location, facilities available in the apartment (Internet, PS3 incl DVD player, tv channels, fully equipped kitchen), welcome by local host, local tips for wining, dining and shopping

Con's: bedrooms are on one of the town's main streets which is not an issue with normal traffic but snow plough services in the morning can be a nuisance, parking facilities not included but plenty cheap/free facilities in the vicinity

Super stay

Very impressed with this apartment. Booking was easy, owner replied to all of my emails and queries. Owners agent met us on arrival and was very helpful pointing out parking, supermarket etc.

Apartment is right in the heart of things - think supermarket, bakery, cafes within a few hundred meters but only a short stroll to the ski lift. We rented as a group of friends for a week skiing. Kitchen is fab for cooking - it has everything you could possibly need. Saying that we did sample some of the very lovely local French restaurants and took a short drive into Italy for some authentic pizza!

The rooms are great, the apartment is well heated and amazing underfloor heating is a real bonus!

Everything was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. I would happily (and hopefully will) stay again.

Meet and greet flawless. 2 grown children, 2 small children, dog and both parents enjoyed most fantastic2 week holiday ever! Apartment glorious.
