Married with 2 girls and a personal trainer I love being outdoors. Whilst you can't beat hot weather, running, mountain biking or just walking round Skipwith common on a frosty morning is one of my favourite things to do.
This is a superb house which is spacious, very clean and fitted to a high standard.
We stayed over a weekend for a special family event in York and this location was close enough to the town but far enough away in a very tranquil village setting.
Mark the owner met us at the house giving a comprehensive tour of the rooms and facilities in a very well equipped house.
This was a weekend to remember and we will without doubt return for another visit.
Eight of us just spent a family weekend away here, and we loved it!
Mark, the owner was extremely easy to deal with when we booked, and although we arrived late in the evening, he was waiting to welcome us. He even put pizza and wine in the fridge for us!
The house itself is large, clean, well fitted out and very comfortable. A lovely big sitting room, and a large well-equipped kitchen. A real home-away-from-home, in fact.
Our chief interest in the area was York itself, and this pretty village was a perfect distance out- quiet, but close enough to drive easily to the York park-and-ride.
We'd happily stay here again! Highly recommended.
