A Simple Place With Reliable Facilities Ideal For A Budget Holiday

This updated and renovated property known as Casa Maria Roman but retaining its original characteristics of tiled floors and beams is in a quiet street at the upper end of the picturesque mountain village of Gaucin. On 3 floors the ground floor has an entrance lobby with a second lobby with single bed useful for putting a third visitor, leading to stairs to the first floor which has a living dining and kitchen area with a wood burning stove. There is a TV and stereo system. On the top floor is large double bedroom with bathroom leading off which also has the washing machine. There is a terrace with a table and chairs and 2 reclining garden chairs. A great bonus is that only 400 metres away is the very well appointed village swimming pool which offers excellent value between July and August. It is a large grassy and shaded area which is great for sunbathing and relaxing during your visit. The free of charge tennis court is next door to the pool.

Situated 600 m above sea level the village is surrounded by scenic views a great walking area and also for scenic drives. The owner is an experienced walking guide and can offer walking leaflets and guide books free of charge
