Just fabulous

We stayed for a full week in the summer, the apartment was just the right size for a family of four with all the facilities you could need both inside the apartment and in the neighbourhood. Caroline was helpful and timely in her messages, making access to the property contact free and easy. She was kind wnough to communicate with us in English which was really helpful! Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious with lots of storage. The lounge/diner is not walk through and was a perfect place to rest on the comfy sofas after a long day exploring, opening the big beautiful windows to get a breeze and to watch, listen and soak up life on Rue Rambuteau was just wonderful. The doors and windows locked securely making us feel safe, with the front door opening onto a hallway which the bedrooms and lounge come off which was a real unexpected luxury. There are so so many amazing take out food options on Rue Rambuteau, was lovely to go as a family selecting bits from each place and share them all.on the huge dining table. Two favourite places are the boulangerie 'Chez Meunier' a 2 min walk for pastries, breads and patisseries and the French/Moroccan restaurant 'Chez Loulou' where you can listen to gentle live cello/piano while eating. Rambuteau station is a 2 min walk and is so easy to access all the main sights. I highly reccomend both Caroline as a host and this beautiful Parisian home to anyone wanting to explore the city but also e perience local life.

Great location with an experience of Parisian lifestyle

Our family (2 adults and 3 children 5 -12 years) fitted perfectly into this little gem of an apartment in the bustling, upbeat and friendly area of Le Marais. The apartment is as described in the listing, and as reviewed by others. The communication from Valentine was prompt and courteous, I felt that if there was any problems with the apartment we would have had support. We enjoyed the quirks and differences of the apartment (however the hand-held shower was hated by my husband!) and we all loved opening the windows and letting the street and cafe noises drift up. We did have a poor timing stay by way of renovation works in the space directly below us (woken by hammering/ drilling each day), it looks to be close to finished so that may help future stays. The location was just fab for food, shopping and sightseeing. The kitchen was very well equipped and we ate in a few times (lovely on a warm night with the windows open) as there is a full-sized refrigerator and an oven. We had fine warm weather so walked mostly, however there is a lot of options for public transport nearby. We'd have loved our stay to last longer, 8 nights wasn't enough, so much to eat, see and do! Thanks to Alice and Valentine for sharing your sweet apartment and giving us the taste of Paris, we hope to be back!

Paris perfectly located flat

Alice and Valentine's flat is a very classy place. It is clean, uncluttered and very comfortable and yet it has all the necessary equipment for a holiday/weekend break in Paris. The location is absolutely amazing since you are in a quiet side street at the heart of a very genuine popular neighbourhood and yet very central and with very easy reach to many touristic attractions and public transport.

Perfect rental for Paris

The appartement is great. It was 5 of us and there was enough space for everybody. It has a big bathroom and a separate toilette which is really great. The kitchen is big enough and well equipped. The wifi connection is excellent. Everything is very clean. The best of all is the location. Marais is the nicest part of Paris. In the street of the appartement there are very nice tipically French caffes, restaurants, supermarket. It is 2 minutes walk from Centre Pompidou, and the metro, and maybe 10- 15 minutes walk from Notre Dame and the Louvre. This appartement is the best choice for your stay in Paris!
