2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom Cosy Cottage In Quiet Cashel Bay
Cashel Cottage is located in the heart of Connemara in Cashel Bay Co. Galway.
The house sleeps 4 in 2 rooms, one with a double bed and the second room with 2 single beds. There is one bathroom with shower and bath and a south facing porch.
The kitchen/dining sitting are open plan. There is an open fire in the sitting area and a range in the kitchen where there is also a gas hob. Either can be used for cooking.
There is also has a large pantry and storage area.
The house is very bright with lots of windows and has recently been completely refurbished. It is very cosy.
Location-wise it is ideal being a 5 minute walk from the sea and a five minute walk to the pub which serves food. There are also 2 hotels in Cashel. The children’s playground is within walking distance.
Roundstone fishing village and beaches is 9 miles, Ballynahinch is 6 miles and Clifden is 14 miles. Galway City is 40 miles. When visiting Connemara a car is a must.
There is lots to do in the Connemara area including golf, fishing, horse riding, hill walking, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and much much more.
It is on its own grounds and close to 2 hotels and a pub. Cashel pier is a 2 minute stroll and there are lovely walks along the rocky sea shore.
Stays of less than 7 days will incur a €50 cleaning charge

About Ruaidhri Prendergast
Ursula and Ruaidhri lived at Cashel Cottage before moving to Galway city. Ursula is from Chile and Ruaidhri grew up in Cashel. We like the sea, sailing and swimming also travelling and cooking.
Ruaidhri Prendergast purchased this cottage in 2004

Quiet rural location yet within walking distance of the pub and bistrot. This is the ideal location for touring Connemara. There is a playground 50m away.
