Sleeps 4. 2 bedroom apartment. Osborne Terrace is a traditional two bedroom penthouse apartment, in the heart of Edinburgh, just a short walk from Edinburgh Castle and the West End of the city. The roof terrace offers views over the city and out towards Arthur’s Seat and the Pentland Hills.

The property underwent a complete refurbishment to an exceptionally high standard in 2012. Inside there is one double and one twin bedroom. There is a fully fitted kitchen with all necessary appliances. The spacious lounge opens onto a balcony offering great views over the city. There is on street parking(free to visitors, via permits supplied) near to the property and great public transport links with a nearby bus stop and both Edinburgh Airport and both Edinburgh rail stations (Waverly and Haymarket) within easy reach. Nearby you’ll find convenience stores and coffee shops, banks and bakeries. There is an entertainment complex with cinema, bowling and restaurants within five minutes walk from the property. The rear of the property overlooks the Caledonian Canal, which is popular with dog walkers and joggers.

Edinburgh is one of the most vibrant cities in Europe, home to the world famous Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival, Edinburgh Book Festival and much, much more.

If you like fine dining you’ll find a number of top restaurants within a short taxi ride of Osborne Terrace, including Restaurant Martin Wishart and Tom Kitchin’s “The Kitchin”.

Then for after dinner entertainment, your imagination is really the limit with live music in many of the city’s pubs, comedy at “the Stand”, musicals at “The Playhouse” and much more.

For sports fans there’s the national rugby stadium at Murrayfield, football at either Hearts or Hibernian, ice hockey with the Edinburgh Capitals and more. Or you could try sailing at South Queensferry or during the winter take a two hour drive to the sky slopes of Aviemore or Glencoe.

For culture and history fans, there’s the UNESCO heritage sites of Edinburgh Castle and the New Town. The recently renovated National Museum of Scotland has many remarkable exhibits and the Queen’s official Scottish residence, the Palace of Holyrood, is at the foot of the world famous Royal Mile.
