The village has a wonderful pub, which serves excellent food, an historic 13c church and a newly equipped children’s play park.
It is well situated for numerous walks in the Purbeck Hills and lots of interesting places to visit including, Durlston Country Park, Blue Pool, Fossil Museum, The Tank Museum, the ancient Saxon walled city of Wareham and the steam train to Swanage - to name but a few.
Entrance to the bungalow is through the south-facing conservatory with relaxing chairs and on into a sitting area with a sofa, comfortable chairs and wood burning stove, which leads into a dining area with table and chairs. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, oven, gas hob and dishwasher. When standing at the sink you will enjoy a most beautiful view looking towards the Purbeck Hills with Kingston Church and Swyre Head in the distance. There is an inner hall with a place to hang coats and a door to the garden with the three bedrooms leading off this hall. One bedroom has twin (3') beds and views to the garden; the second has a king size (5.6) bed and an en-suite shower room; the third bedroom has king size (5.6) beds and French windows looking south, with a view over the hills and with steps leading down to its own patio area. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower, loo and basin. Apart from the kitchen and bathrooms there are fitted carpets throughout.
As you approach the property a pair of double gates open onto a gravel drive which widens to form a turning area and parking for several cars and a boat for those who like sailing. The rear garden is completely private surrounded by trees and a beech hedge with a good size patio for table and chairs.
