The Coach House Flat is a cosy and comfortable first floor flat and forms part of an historic building in the heart of Walberton village, West Sussex. Tucked down a quite side road, the building was originally the village stores and evidence of this can still be seen with the old shop signpost still in position at the front of building. The flat makes an ideal hideaway for families, couples or friends who are looking for the character of a West Sussex village location, but also the convenience of being close to many places of interest and good transport links. A 10% discount on the rental price is available on bookings for 2 people.
Accessed through a courtyard at the rear of the building, stairs lead up to this first floor flat. The living room has plenty of space to be able to relax and offers a TV with DVD player, as well a radio and CD player. There is a dining area with a table that can comfortably seat 4 guests, or up to 6 if you have friends or family visit for a day during your stay. The kitchen is well equipped, with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and all the pots, pans and utensils you should need to be able to self-cater very comfortably. The flat is decorated with pictures that feature local scenes and attractions, many of which have been painted by the owner the Coach House Flat. It also features maps and photos that are part of the Walberton History group collection.
There are 2 bedrooms, the first of which has a double bed and overlooks the attractive street scene at the front of the building. The second bedroom has twin single beds. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, as well as a heated towel rail and hair dryer.
Outside, there is a small area of the courtyard that guests can sit out in and guests can also make us of a store room for boots or bikes, etc. Parking for the flat is on the road, but there should not be any difficulty in being able to park close by. If required, secure parking and garaging (about half a mile away) can be arranged with the owners.
