The house has been privately owned by Yvonne & Brian for over 15 years. Brian will manage your bookings and any general queries but on the ground you will be greeted and looked after by our neighbours - Janice and Paul Mulligan - they are very capable as they currently manage the property next door to us. They will look after all your needs with regards keys , security and general welcome. Celia & Ian will look after your bedding and cleaning on a weekly basis.

Brian Nugent purchased this cottage in 1998

We are very jealous of any guest who chooses to stay at The Cottage as we know it is 'A piece of heaven on earth' - you will delight in the solitude , the changing views of the river in front of you and the garden that just keeps giving! Although we are saying no to pets that is purely for the protection of those around us as there many - Janice's nick name is Mrs. Doolittle!

The Views , the feeling of being in the West of Ireland but having the access to be a city kid if you want to! The East Coast with all it can bring - superb seafood , great local restaurants and the beaches.

Fantastic gettaway cottage

  • 5 out of 5
We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. The facilities were excellent with a wonder view and a very relaxed stay. Also we had our 1 year old with us and it was so chip friendly with a large ensuite and walk in shower so it was very handy. Highly recommend all year around.
